Compared with Nearmap, this platform feels pretty poor overall because the image resolution lacks clarity and the interface is much harder to work with. One of the biggest frustrations is that you can't choose a property unless the address exactly matches the database so if it's a rural site or a newer title with numbering that isn't in the system, you're basically stuck. With other programs, you can simply pan to the location on the map and select the property directly which makes far more sense.

An issue I've run into is that some information doesn't always refresh from the original source and when that happens, we can't use the program for that particular request.

Cons

Using this program feels very accessible and it puts a huge amount of information right in front of you. Being able to pull up details like slope, plans and site information almost instantly while sitting with a client is a real game changer and saves a lot of time. Even being able to prepare quotes and similar tasks directly from the program makes the whole process much more convenient. Honestly, there's barely any need for another program.

At times some of the source information isn't current which means we can't rely on the program for those particular inquiries.

Being able to place a pool on a property and immediately understand the elevation is really helpful since it tells me what kind of pool build it will likely be before I even call the customer. It also lets me present customers with a professional-looking plan that's clear to read and quick to put together.

I'd like the generated site plan to be a bit clearer. It would also be helpful to have importable objects that we can resize afterward which I understand is already on the way.

It's very user friendly, fits our business well and saves us a lot of time.

Pros

At the start there were a few minor teething issues but with each update the app has become better and more user friendly. Honestly, there's very little to fault now and it has saved me a huge amount of time in my business.

Cons

Has been an excellent sales tool for me. Being able to show clients all the relevant rules and exactly how the pool will look during the quoting stage is a big advantage especially when visuals make such a difference.

“site overlays are a real bonus!”

Pros

One thing that's been really useful is being able to drop one of our designs onto a site and instantly see the floor height above Natural Ground Level. That's a big plus. There are honestly quite a few strong features in the software already and it feels like they're rolling out more improvements and tools every week or two.

It is still developing so a few features aren't available across every area yet. For example, not all councils are included at this stage although they are adding more councils week by week.

A few bugs still pop up and the UI doesn't always scale perfectly across different screen sizes but it's a minor issue and doesn't really affect how well the product works.

Having all the information and tools needed to assess a property in one place is a huge advantage especially since I used to jump between three or four different websites to do the same task.

It's exciting having all councils loaded into the system especially since it shows both DA setbacks and CDC setbacks.

Has done an excellent job bringing together all the available information around site approvals in one place and they've also been very responsive in evolving the software to better match the specific needs of our industry.

Cons

Since the platform is still being developed, there are a few gaps and it can't assess every site yet but the team keeps rolling out new features and expanding coverage week by week.

“fast, simple and powerful”

Pros

What really works well with the software is how simple it is to use without feeling limited. A lot of other softwares I've come across tend to be overly complicated but this one strikes a really nice balance between capability and speed.

Cons

It would be even better with a few more advanced features for managing larger teams. That said, their team seems very open to feedback and I'm looking forward to seeing those updates down the line.
