Why I Recommend DealHub

Pros

I appreciate the flexibility of playbooks and the ability to set specific rules that suit our needs.

Cons

Our company operates with multiple brands under one holding entity. I would appreciate more flexibility in diversifying and specifying by brand within DealHub.

DealHub decreases deal errors by 80%

Pros

The guided selling process was crucial for our team. In the past, our process was too open-ended, leading to numerous errors that made the corrections tedious and time-consuming. We use HubSpot, and I have to say the integration is excellent.

Cons

The platform feels like a blank slate, requiring everything to be built from scratch. Fortunately, we had a great implementation team to guide us through the process. Some of the logic takes time to get used to, and the "table builder" for Dealroom and PDFs is difficult to modify because it lacks a GUI. It's mostly about adjusting column widths through trial and error.

Absolutely loving this platform

Pros

It is incredibly configurable and robust enough to manage our professional services use case. We have various pricing strategies for different services, and DealHub has managed it all effortlessly. Also, it is simple to manage, update, and push out real-time updates to in-progress opportunities.

Cons

Nothing to report so far. It has been fantastic for our business.

Good product overall

Pros

It is very easy to manage and configure. It can be efficiently handled by the business side.

Cons

It lacks a good rule engine, although the upcoming ability to create product hierarchies should help.

Powerful Integration options

Pros

I really like the integration capabilities that DealHub offers with Salesforce. We can pull data from Salesforce into DealHub, which provides our reps with all the necessary information while creating their quotes.

Cons

I dislike that subscriptions do not provide visibility into our MSRP. We have set up subscriptions to automatically increase our price by a certain percentage. Since the uplift is included, DealHub assumes it's the MSRP price. There is no easy way to view MSRP when using subscriptions.

User-friendly interface

Pros

What stands out to me most about DealHub CPQ is its seamless integration with Salesforce. This integration ensures that all quotes, pricing, and customer data are automatically synced between the two platforms, which streamlines the sales process and reduces the chances of errors. The user-friendly interface and flexible pricing options make it easy for sales teams to create accurate quotes and manage complex pricing models, which boosts productivity and enhances customer satisfaction.

Cons

What I liked least about DealHub CPQ is the occasional complexity in setting up and customizing advanced features. While the platform is generally user-friendly, some of the more advanced customization options can be difficult to configure without additional support or technical expertise. This can slow down the implementation process and make it take longer to fully optimize the platform for our specific business needs.

Highly versatile platform

Pros

It is a highly flexible platform capable of managing complex implementations and integrations. The admin interface is very user-friendly, making navigation and configuration easy. The DealHub team is fantastic as well and they are always available to help and answer any questions I may have.

Cons

Its documentation can be a bit confusing at times and lacks detailed information. However, I am confident that the recent launch of DealHub Academy will address these issues. Also, the deployment process has some limitations since we currently have to deploy the entire Sandbox environment, and we don't have the option to deploy individual components.

My experience with dealhub

Pros

DealHub provides a quick and efficient way to prepare proposals and contracts. The dealroom is visually appealing and very easy to access.

Cons

The backend is very multifaceted, which makes detecting errors and troubleshooting a bit tricky. Also, errors tend to pop up here and there.

Best fit for specific needs

Pros

I like that DealHub is customizable to suit a wide variety of use cases and specific needs. It makes working with and automating document signatures easy, and it also offers configurations for various sales processes.

Cons

The only thing I do not like about it is that its interface can feel a bit heavy. However, with some patience, it becomes more efficient to work with.

Ultimate tool to use

Pros

The learning process is made easier with their new Essential Admin Certification course, and it's simple to connect with support if any issues arise while building for the first time. The support team is quick to respond and is committed to resolving any problems.

Cons

There is absolutely nothing I would change. The internal teams and support teams have been amazing.

Unmatched solutions and support!

Pros

The customer support has been exceptional. Responses to submitted support tickets are very fast, and they are always able to pinpoint and communicate the issues as well as the necessary updates or fixes. Plus, the Solutions Expert who worked with our team on the proposal playbook was outstanding. This individual was always available for support, providing guidance and teaching best practices.

Cons

There is no ability to run reports that track quoting trends by salesperson, industries, etc. These reports have to be run by the DealHub team, which is complicated and time-consuming.

Pros

Some sections of the back-end, such as templates and user management, are very simple and easy.

Very user-friendly

Pros

The energy sector is highly complex and constantly changing. I appreciate how easy it is to modify the Playbook to keep up with these changes. It is also simple to transfer items from UAT to Production. The ability to implement complex questions with minimal effort is a major advantage for us. The CSM and the entire team are fantastic and easy to work with. They made the product very easy to understand and provided me with all the necessary tools to become self-sufficient and independent.

Cons

The lack of reporting is a downside, and the platform does not support all languages across all features.
