“Nice canvas but credits cost”

Pros

Using it for building agents has been really useful especially the workflow canvas for putting things together and creating. The canvas makes it clear where an agent failed and lets me review each step which helps a lot. Also it makes building and using AI workflows very simple so adding AI into my software is much more practical.

Cons

One downside is that it burns through credits pretty quickly and I think it would work more efficiently if some tasks could be integrated through GitHub. It would also be really useful if it could be triggered automatically when tasks are completed.

The interface is simple and user friendly so it doesn't seem complicated to navigate at all.

Cons

One frustrating part is that it's hard to find the agents after creating them and the agent canvas map tends to disappear once it's been created.

“Fast agent prototyping works perfectly”

Pros

One thing that really stood out with Lyzr.ai was how fast it let me build and test AI agents without needing to create the whole orchestration layer from the ground up. While evaluating it I could put together agent workflows, set up prompts and connect external data sources through an interface that is easy to use. The platform made it simple to iterate on multiple workflow ideas and compare outcomes without sinking too much time into infrastructure work. Also I liked the modular setup since it made experimenting with different agent behaviors and fine-tuning them based on the results much more practical. For rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept work, it cut development time considerably while still offering enough flexibility for more advanced scenarios. Those were easily the strongest parts for me.

Cons

Honestly, I could almost say nothing here, lol. That said even though it is quick to start using, building more advanced multi-agent workflows took some trial and experimentation. A few of the deeper configuration options were not obvious right away so I had to lean on the documentation and some trial and error to get the behavior I wanted. I also feel the platform would be stronger with more detailed tutorials, more real-world implementation examples and a broader set of native integrations for enterprise applications. Better debugging and observability tools to explain why an agent made a specific decision would also make troubleshooting complex workflows a lot easier.

“Choose from flexible LLM options”

Pros

One thing I really like is not being locked into a specific LLM. I can pick whichever model I want and connect agents across any cloud platform which gives me a lot of flexibility.

Cons

If there's one area that could be better, it's the amount of information and features available in it. At times it can look a bit overwhelming to figure out where to start. That said the Talk to us feature seems like a helpful way to address that.

“Agent studio handles automation capably”

Pros

Building refined billing agents, multi-agent systems and complex automations with it has been really useful for me. It speeds up agent development especially with NLP driven prompts which helps a lot when putting things together quickly. One feature I keep coming back to is the agent studio since it makes it easier to customize and create high scale, production ready agents. Also I like the way it suggests enhancements and recommendations that help improve my workflow. On top of that the setup was simple so getting started was simple for technical developers.

Cons

One thing that still needs work is the time it takes in some cases since it seems a bit slower than expected. Lower latency would definitely improve overall performance. I'd also like to see better recommendations around scaling and improving tasks. Suggestions from more of an architect's perspective or clearer insight into how to enhance tasks, would be very helpful. It would also be good to have more advanced improvements added to the agent studio's capabilities.

“Deploy enterprise AI very quickly”

Pros

Building and deploying enterprise grade AI agents with it is quick and easy and it doesn't require a lot of complicated coding to get things running.

Cons

The documentation could be much clearer and more current for complex setups and because of that the advanced onboarding process took longer than I expected.

“Planning becomes faster with this architect”

Pros

I find it very easy to use. The Architect product has been especially useful because it lets me plan the product first talk through the execution and define the agents and orchestration that will be needed. It works really well for putting together a proof of concept and then I can keep refining it through later iterations. I also like that it provides product links that are simple to share with the team, along with several other integrations. The setup process felt very simple overall as just log in, start the conversation, discuss the approach and begin implementing.

Cons

Pricing is pretty expensive and token consumption is also on the high side. I still need to better understand how to manage or optimize token usage. It would also help a lot if Architect included an IDE since being able to write code or text directly there with specific inputs would make the workflow more convenient.

“Powerful agents with adjustable settings”

Pros

Lyzr comes with a user friendly, customizable interface and does a really good job of building AI agents. It also offers plenty of features which gives product designers and users the ability to create tailored agents that actually fit the needs of their workspace.

Cons

The downside is that it can feel a bit complex for beginners especially for anyone creating AI agents for the first time.

Pros

thanks to the low-code workflow, building agents is not a hassle and it works well for both non technical builders and developers who want more flexibility. The pre built templates are useful for getting started faster and the platform supports a wide range of use cases including multi-modal ones.

Cons

I feel like its documentation could be much better since some parts feel incomplete or not detailed enough. The credit-based pricing model can also be a bit confusing and depending on usage, it may end up being expensive.

“Promising studio hits an awkward spot”

Pros

Building with Lyzr.ai is noticeably fast when the goal is turning an idea into a working, production ready AI agent without getting buried in boilerplate. The mix of no-code and low-code inside Agent Studio works well for quick prototypes and workflow mockups and having full SDKs and APIs available when deeper customization is needed is a big plus. It's clearly designed around agents from the beginning, with prebuilt RAG pipelines, multi-agent orchestration and built-in guardrails for safety, hallucinations and PII so there's a lot less time spent wiring up LangChain-style chains or wrestling with prompt-engineering edge cases.

Cons

After spending a fair amount of time with it, the part that still bothers me most is that the learning curve is steeper than it should for a platform marketed as rapid and low code friendly. Agent Studio looks like it will be simple drag-and-drop at first but once you move past basic prototypes, you still end up digging through documentation, experimenting with components and adjusting configs to get things working. It doesn't feel as user friendly as true no-code tools and it also doesn't seem as flexible or as low-boilerplate as going fully coded with LangChain or LangGraph. That leaves it in a somewhat awkward middle space. The documentation and examples can also be inconsistent as some sections are helpful, while others leave too much guesswork around integrations or how advanced guardrails behave in edge cases. I have ended up wasting credits and time just trying to understand why a tool call or RAG flow wasn't behaving the way I expected.
