“Paid too much for little”

There are some useful features here but the AI SDR isn't included in the lower-tier plans and the pricing ends up matching 11x which offers a better overall product.

Cons

Support was disappointing and the follow through was lacking so I had to keep chasing the team. Even the demo didn't do a good job of showing the features properly.

“it is exactly what needed”

Pros

Persana really hit the sweet spot for us. It plugged into our existing tech stack without a lot of friction and unlocked meaningful enrichment automation across several different use cases. It was the only tabular enrichment platform we came across that gave us confidence we could support whatever use case we thought of, while still keeping credit usage and overall cost at a level that made sense. Just getting our first core automations in place for updating specific HubSpot data and managing workflows between tools has already made the price worth it, even if we never build anything beyond that.

Cons

Tools like this naturally come with a bit of a learning curve and it is no exception but after a few weeks and with help from their very responsive support team, it becomes manageable. One thing to keep in mind is that you have to be deliberate when setting up tables, columns and enrichments because some elements cannot be changed once they're locked in or referenced somewhere else. A lot of that comes down to having a decent process but while you're still learning, there's a good chance you'll end up rebuilding certain tables or enrichments and using extra credits along the way. To the team's credit, they understand this especially with new users and they do try to help you avoid mistakes. They even refunded credits when we slipped up.

“Data became way more valuable”

Pros

Having it automatically pull and enrich data from several sources has been a huge time saver for me and it's reduced the number of tools and manual tasks I need to deal with. It honestly looks like having a full time SDR working around the clock.

Cons

There's definitely a learning curve when it comes to fully understanding the platform and getting the most out of all its features but once that clicks, the value becomes pretty obvious.
