Client friendly, but back-end challenges

Pros

One significant benefit that I have experienced with Seismic is the activity updates it provides. Whenever I log in and view the attached content, I can see exactly which parts of the content my clients are engaging with. This real-time insight has greatly improved my client relationship management, as it allows me to easily understand what my clients are interested in.

Cons

I find it challenging to keep back-end content organized on the platform, and I often struggle to locate the content I'm searching for due to the platform's layout.

Game changer for training and development

Pros

Not only does Seismic allow me to create content, but I also love the ability to add multiple-choice, matching choices, and other question/answer selections to test the assignee's knowledge after they complete the lesson. It's like using Google Forms but with an upgraded version built right into the lesson, which I find great!

Cons

One of the biggest struggles I face when creating new lessons in Seismic is the inability to add pictures directly in the middle of a text box. Sometimes, I want to insert a graph or image without having to break the text box and create a second one.

Great for sales and knowledge sharing

Pros

Seismic is an excellent tool for cross-functional document sharing. We use it company-wide, adjusting permissions between teams to allow everyone to access essential documentation that will help them in their roles. For instance, I work in marketing, but my content is incredibly important for sales enablement. I store everything on Seismic so that the sales team has a one-stop shop to find what they need, without having to ask me for it.

Cons

The platform is not very easy and I would also like it if it sent reminders for approvals. Often, documents need to go through a series of stakeholders for approval before publishing, but these stakeholders sometimes forget. It would be great if it sent reminder alerts to these stakeholders after a certain number of hours.

Leading LMS Solution

Pros

This is by far the best LMS I've used. It offers numerous customization options, making the experience interactive and tailored to our needs.

Cons

Although the final product is worth it, I find that it takes a considerable amount of time to build out the right way.

I particularly appreciate how Seismic facilitates continuous feedback exchange among team members, fostering an ongoing sense of readiness. It is truly remarkable that we've been able to create and deliver advanced, distinctive training content, all thanks to the powerful features Seismic offers, ensuring the continuous evaluation of our operations.

My client is dropping Seismic

Pros

It works well as a database. If all I need is a strict Cms used by marketing but not necessarily for customer-facing content delivery, then Seismic is quite effective.

Cons

It really struggles when it comes to enabling sellers to create relevant, timely, and valuable messaging for customers. The micro-site/digital sales room functionality is very weak, and customers do not engage. Highspot performs much better in this regard, which is not difficult to achieve.

Effective content management software

Pros

It can store a large number of resources and documents, and classify them in an easy and convenient manner.

Cons

Seismic can store so many documents that it really needs strong content managers to apply the right keywords and classify things correctly. It can also sometimes feel overwhelming in terms of content, so it needs to be used repeatedly to understand how it works.

Cons

The reporting and analytics could be improved. I also find giving access to be difficult.
