“right fit for our specific needs”
Pros
The tool did exactly what I needed it to do and worked well for the purpose I was using it for.
Cons
There was quite a bit to learn and while it was decent overall my company ended up discontinuing it after about eight months.

“Made a positive difference for us”
Pros
Right from the start its setup and feature configuration fit into our workflow well and that has made a noticeable difference in improving every team member's efficiency. One thing I really value is how it supports continuous feedback between colleagues which keeps everyone prepared and aligned at all times. That kind of collaboration goes beyond the usual barriers and makes knowledge sharing much more natural across the team. It's also been impressive to build and deliver more advanced, unique training content using its strong feature set, while still being able to continuously assess and monitor how our operations are performing.
Cons
I have not had any issues at all as it fits right into our main system and lets us work without any trouble.

“Salesforce integration is a win”
Pros
Having it connected to Salesforce is really helpful since sales reps can send documentation to potential clients in just a few clicks.
Cons
The interface seems a bit outdated in terms of design.

“ideal CMS for marketing content”
Pros
As a content database it does an amazing job. If the goal is a tightly controlled CMS mainly for marketing use and not really a platform for delivering content directly to customers, it performs quite well.
Cons
Where it falls short is helping sellers put together messaging that feels relevant, timely and valuable for customers. The micro-site and digital sales room features are especially weak and customer engagement just is not there. Highspot handles this much better and the gap is pretty obvious.

“Powerful hub for sales enablement”
Pros
Seismic has been an excellent place to keep a wide range of sales enablement materials. It makes storing files and finding documents easy and it has helped my company learn a lot more.
Cons
One thing I'd like to see improved is the search function. I wish it recognized more keywords so the results could be narrowed down more effectively.

“Resource rich tool”
Pros
It handles a large volume of resources and documents really well and they can be organized in a way that makes them convenient and simple to sort through.
Cons
Because it can hold such a huge number of documents, it really depends on strong content management to apply the right keywords and classifications. At times the amount of content can also feel overwhelming so it takes regular use to fully understand how everything works.

“Helpful LiveDocs but weak analytics”
Pros
Creating documents is very easy and LiveDocs has been a really useful feature.
Cons
The reporting side could be improved and the analytics need work as well. Managing and assigning access is also difficult.

“quite a powerful dashboards”
Pros
One of the strongest parts of Seismic is the Insights dashboards. They surface a huge amount of data, not just from within the tool itself but also from CRM-integrated tools. On top of that there's plenty of flexibility to build custom dashboards so we can tailor them to match just about any reporting need we have.
Cons
A frustrating issue we've run into is with LiveForm file generation in preview mode. When testing LiveForm data and clicking Generate, the file does get created and downloaded successfully but the preview does not appear in the current window as expected.

“Quick content access win”
Pros
Tracking down the right content is easy and sharing it with my customers is quick and convenient.

I'd love the option to open slide decks directly in Google Slides instead of having to add them to my workspace first.

“Fast searches with clear navigation”
Pros
Seismic is very easy to use. I can either run a broad search or narrow things down by selecting specific folders and that makes finding what I need much simpler.
Cons
This seems more like an admin-side issue than a problem with the platform itself but folder structures can sometimes get overly complicated which ends up making searches harder than they should be.

“highly recommended!”
Pros
Switching from a company that relied entirely on internal tools to handle data, documentation, decks and everything else was a huge relief once I started using it. The old way was inefficient, time consuming and honestly pretty frustrating. This on the other hand has really powerful search and filtering features while still being very user-friendly so locating what you need is much easier. The tracking tools are also a big advantage because they show where clients or prospects are spending time in your materials which helps you decide what to focus on in your follow-up communication. 10/10 would recommend.
Cons
The part I like least is syncing new documents into the system when updating older versions. I really wish uploading a new version were easier instead of having to sync it and sometimes repeat that process multiple times.

“Excellent content management at scale”
Pros
We're in the middle of rolling out it and the experience has been really positive up to this point. Its features work well for managing content at scale and for SaaS companies, that's especially important.
Cons
One thing that could make it even better would be sending current employees visual user guides with department-specific instructions.

“top content hub for assets”
Pros
Packed with useful features and very simple to navigate, it serves as a single place for all the content and assets across my organization.
Cons
The landing page doesn't seem personalized and I'd really like more options for saving favorite assets, creating groups and organizing things better.
