“Cancellation impossible with no support”

For the first couple of weeks it performed okay but after that things went downhill and it began using credits for no apparent reason. The ice breakers were just average and even the interface felt pretty mediocre when it was actually functioning.

Cons

Canceling turned into a complete nightmare. I ended up spending an entire day talking with my card provider just to stop future charges because once you subscribe and pay, there's apparently no way to cancel through their website. I have also had to file a chargeback request. I sent them an email and never got any response and their chat support might as well not exist. It honestly feels like this company is going to get exposed sooner or later and the software will disappear. Don't throw away your time and money the way I did.

At first the software performed really well. The Smartscript feature added some good personalization and everything worked nicely until it suddenly stopped functioning entirely.

Then Smartscript quit working altogether and the only personalizations left were the company-based ones which were absolutely terrible.

Their AI writer has been excellent and I have really been enjoying the product overall.

I do wish there were more API capabilities. The only part I still cannot automate is logging into it since there isn't an API available for content writing.

That said some content still needs a bit of human review before it's fully ready to use.

One thing that really stands out is how responsive the support team is and how open they are to recommendations and feedback.

Every now and then a feature doesn't work quite the way it's supposed to. Still, that's somewhat understandable for a service rolling out this many features at such a fast pace. Whenever you report an issue, they address it as quickly as they can and most of the time it gets fixed the very same day.

Pros

SmartWriter.ai has been fantastic for creating first-line outreach. I can just drop in the website URL of the company I want to contact and the tool handles the rest. Also it pulls up the LinkedIn profile connected to that website which is really useful when I am pitching my services to other businesses.

Cons

The generated output includes information that isn't relevant although the team is able to refund those generations so you don't lose credits. Another downside is that you cannot create just one first line at a time as it makes you generate 2 to 3 which can burn through credits faster than expected. Hopefully they add an option for generating a single output in the future.

Outreach marketing is still growing but it clearly looks like one of the areas that will have the biggest impact going forward. Because of that choosing to invest in outreach seems like a smart move. It is really pushing this space forward. Anyone doing outreach should seriously consider using it. There are tons of GPT-3 writing tools out there so standing out is not simple yet it still manages to look like one of the stronger options available. It's another good example of AI being used to create something genuinely valuable. As a writing tool, it's making a real name for itself and feels like one of the best platforms in the category. The results I have gotten have been excellent and getting started with it feels like an easy decision. On top of that it includes icebreakers, email finders, email verification and email copy generation. It also offers a content expander, growth tools, ad content and plenty of other features you'd expect from a full AI writing assistant. The platform feels well-rounded and packed with useful functionality. I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone interested in AI content. I have also had contact with their support team and they reply quickly and genuinely seem to care about helping customers. This seems like a company with a lot of potential and I am excited to see where they go next.

If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be the UI. That said even from a professional standpoint, I still think it's very good overall. The interface is already well designed, user friendly and simple to understand.

SmartWriter does an excellent job of generating unique, personalized email openers with very little effort. It really helps make outreach emails feel more customized and effective.

Cons

The results are not always fully accurate or usable so they still need to be reviewed manually. Automation is limited right now and it takes human input to choose the right text.

Getting conversation starters and introduction templates only takes a single click which makes the whole process really convenient.

It would be even better if support for additional languages were added.
