“Offer rewarding perks”
Pros
It's nice getting rewarded when sales go well and I have also been able to learn more about different brands along the way.
Cons
The downside is that incentive payouts take a while to come through after they're earned.

“Staff incentives made simple”
Pros
SparkPlug has really simplified the way we motivate staff. It saves management a lot of time by helping with setup, tracking progress and handling staff payouts. Another big plus is that training can now be done directly on the platform so staff can complete it on their own schedule and still get paid for each session. On top of that the platform is very easy to navigate.
Cons
From a manager's point of view, one issue is that we currently have 11 Sparks running at the same time and there should really be a cap on how many incentives can be active at once. That would help staff focus on a smaller number of brands instead of feeling overwhelmed especially since some Sparks require hitting certain thresholds to qualify for prizes. I have also had a few companies hesitate to join SparkPlug because they worry their incentive might get overlooked or passed over in favor of a better prize.

“very helpful support”
Pros
One thing that really works well with it is being able to choose the type of payout you want. Tracking the data is easy too and the competitive element it adds makes it even more engaging. On top of that customer support has been very helpful anytime an issue comes up.
Cons
Every now and then the sales data doesn't sync correctly but it happens rarely.

“Great mix of education and incentives”
Pros
The mix of education and incentives makes the platform feel friendly for both users and brands. Also it is really good to see that you actually listen to brand feedback and use it to improve the platform.
Cons
The only thing I really wish it had is an app because I don't love being stuck using my laptop every time.

“Helpful tracking but pricey scaling”
Pros
One thing that works well is sales tracking. Also it is nice that staff can quickly see their own numbers which adds a competitive element and motivates them to perform better.
Cons
I feel like the pricing could definitely be better. Once you have multiple locations, the cost keeps going up with each added site and that has honestly stopped me from bringing newer locations onto the platform. It can also be buggy at times when pulling data.

“minimal training needed”
Pros
It is very easy to use and the fact that it's free for dispensaries makes it even more appealing. Also it creates a nice earning opportunity for budtenders.
Cons
One downside is the lack of training provided for budtenders and there's also no consumer-facing interface available.

“Vendor incentives that deliver”
Pros
SparkPlug has made it much easier for us to stay connected with vendor partners that run incentive programs for our employees. Vendors can reward our team directly for moving product and at the same time it helps them drive more sales. It really seems like a win-win for everyone involved.
Cons
Honestly I don't see a downside for a cannabis retailer when it comes to using it.

“Backend analytics that work well!”
Pros
Running an MSO, one of the biggest wins for me has been the backend analytics I get access to. That reporting and visibility have been really valuable.
Cons
The biggest downside is that the sign-up process takes a little too long and that can be the main thing that turns off potential new accounts.

“onboarding process was simple”
Pros
One of the best parts has been the employee incentives, along with how responsive and supportive the team is whenever we need answers or help finding a solution. The platform is also very simple and getting started with onboarding is simple.
Cons
Well the only challenge is getting brands to accept invitations when they are not already on the platform.

“Fantastic interface”
Pros
The interface is very user friendly, the integration process was hassle free and the customer support has been excellent throughout.
Cons
It would be even better with stronger support for commission based incentives and more flexibility when creating rules.
