It's difficult to identify primary procurement items as it only allows for a primary vendor, which significantly limits the effectiveness of the Replenishment Order Entry feature.

The software's ease of use was remarkable. The option to select and wave by date, shipping method, etc, was extremely helpful.

Honestly I can't think of any improvements or changes that I would make to the software.

Setting up processing workflows for warehouse functions from receiving to inventory to packing and shipping, was very easy and incredibly useful.

Support isn't always readily available and it can be challenging to get quick responses when needed.

The software can be tailored to fit your business's exact requirements. Their support (though at a higher cost) is fast and effective, solving issues even outside of standard production hours.

While the system is mostly stable, issues occasionally arise due to the extensive customizations we have made to Tecsys to meet our business requirements. These issues sometimes cause the system to fail and result in lost production time but they're usually resolved quickly.

Highly customizable, with easy access control and the ability to manage complex systems and organizations efficiently.

Cons

Some aspects of inventory alerts could be improved. For example it's not as simple as it could be to set up alerts for specific items such as when an item (like lot 456 of item 123) is recalled and should no longer be allowed in inventory. I look forward to updates to this feature in the future.

“Solid software, but a bit pricey

Pros

It's location and identification features help improve inventory accuracy, while the use of handheld scanners in the WMS environment makes it easy for less tech savvy individuals to navigate. The slotting for receipts and replenishment ensures a smooth flow of products in and out.

Cons

Licensing and maintenance fees can accumulate quickly, requiring significant daily upkeep. Also, the software does not integrate smoothly with our financial system, which makes maintenance a tedious task. The end user interface could also be simplified for ease of use.
