“Perfect for third-party logistics

Pros

With it, it's easy to submit a quote, open load details and review everything in one place. Plus I really like how simple it is to share documents. And the message board makes it easy to stay connected with customers.

Cons

I don't like that as a bidder I cannot see the mileage. A lot of my quotes depend on mileage to calculate transit times, so I always have to look it up separately before each quote. Tracking is also a bit tricky since I just get tracking updates through messages instead of a built-in system.

Pros

Freightview software is really user-friendly and I love that it brings all modes of transportation together. The analytics are helpful, and being able to save quotes is a great feature.

Cons

I wish I could track every carrier. Other than that no major issues.

“Excellent freight scheduling tool

Pros

Getting quotes from different freight companies, booking them and managing all the paperwork and tracking in one place is a game changer. It is especially useful for large companies that work with multiple freight providers.

Cons

In the beginning, it felt a bit overwhelming trying to upload all the freight companies we work with into Freightview. Once we got through that, it ran pretty smoothly. But in the end, we decided to cancel our subscription since we mostly stuck with one freight company, and keeping the subscription didn't seem worth the cost.

Pros

Quoting and comparing rates was not this easy for us before. Plus the interface is super clear, simple and easy to navigate.

Pros

Everything about it works great. Setting it up and integrating it into our system was seamless, with minimal impact on users. Adding carriers is hassle free. And the entire process from getting a quote to shipping was simple too.

Cons

We have been using this for two weeks now and so far, I haven't found anything that I dislike. We ship 15 to 20 LTL shipments per week and everything from booking to delivery has been easy to track and manage.

“Really easy to use

Pros

I love that I can go back and refresh my quotes to get updated rates. Also it is quite helpful that I can see the rates my coworkers have searched for so we don't waste time duplicating efforts.

Cons

The one thing that bothers me is not really Freightview's fault as it is more about the carriers. As sometimes, PODs for deliveries aren't available right away and I have to request them separately.

Honestly, I really like everything about this program. Plus it's upfront pricing and tracking features are fantastic too.

Not sure if I fully understand the Status Check feature. I don't really use it much in my daily work, but I could see how it might be useful for someone else.

Freightview software is simple and easy to use. Even though I'm still exploring all the features it offers, but the next step for us is integrating it with our existing setup.

Pros

The automated freight class feature is simply the best. Some vendors do not provide that information and it used to be a pain for us to figure it out manually. Since switching over, this problem of ours is completely solved.

Cons

I feel like the system does not give carriers enough details once they're awarded a shipment. It would be really helpful if they had all the necessary info to create the BOL for the vendor and access the right contacts at the vendor level. I would also love to have a feature that lets me edit a shipment instead of having to delete it and start over if I make a mistake.

“Works the way we expected

Pros

Setting everything up across multiple sites was not a complex task and the training process was just as easy as we expected.

Cons

I would love to see improvements in features like PCF for NMFC class location and auto-fill, truckload multi-stop, export quote data and award tracking. If they roll these out, we'd definitely recommend this solution to more of our direct clients.

“Makes comparing rates simple

Pros

Well I love tha fact that I can see quotes from multiple carriers in one place. It makes comparing rates and finding the best option simple. The site layout is also great as my BOLs and extra details are neatly organized on the left and tracking info is right at the bottom. Moreover it is really user-friendly, and the customer service team has been very helpful.

Cons

The biggest dislike for me is that if I make a mistake on the first page, I have to go back and re-enter everything from scratch. It is something that is time-consuming, and when I'm comparing rates for different shipping days, it gets exhausting. As I use this software daily and fixing this issue would save me a LOT of time.

Tracking carriers with Freightview is so simple.

It can feel a bit repetitive, and I think the addition of some more advanced features will make it even better.

My review title says it all. It is easy to use. I could quickly look up multiple freights, track them without hassle and get all the necessary paperwork in one place.

Cons

To be honest, I have not come across any major issues. So far, I am happy with it!
