“Amazing tool for supplier management

What stands out to me most about Graphite Connect is its ability to consolidate supplier data and automate the onboarding process, which really make workflows more streamlined and cutting down on manual labor.

Cons

Customization options are somewhat limited and the navigation can feel a bit difficult, making it less user-friendly at times.

Pros

It has an attractive design but honestly, that's pretty much where the positives end.

Cons

Managing workflows can be challenging and there's no reporting functionality. Vendor response times can also be an issue.

The team at Graphite is OUTSTANDING. They're a group of procurement experts who really know how to make the experience smooth.

Cons

They're relatively new in the market so choosing them was a bit of a risk but we're glad we did, and we honestly wish we had chosen their solution sooner.

“Effective and reliable

Pros

The implementation process was incredibly easy. We were operational within weeks, not months. Afterward, their development team was very helpful in fine tuning the final version.

Cons

Our API integration process with our ERP system took longer than expected. Graphite built a new API connector for our ERP and it's unclear if the delays were due to bugs in our ERP, a lack of action from our IT team or if the Graphite sales team may have over-promised. However the API connection is now live and functioning.

“Graphite Connect is the future of procurement

Pros

What I find most appealing about Graphite is the company's vision of becoming the go-to platform for sharing essential B2B information regarding business operations and risk management. I also love how it is flexible enough to adapt to our business needs, rather than requiring us to adjust our operations to fit other solutions. In short, it enables business success based on our preferences and methods of working.

Cons

When running basic data collection reports within the tool, we receive a spreadsheet containing every piece of data possible, 99.9% of which is irrelevant to our reporting request. We should be able to run a simple report for specific data points without receiving an overwhelming Excel file. (We opt not to use the built-in reporting features in Graphite instead relying on our own tools.) Still, it would be nice to have the option to export basic search results to Excel.

As early users of Graphite Connect, we've gained from its growth and improvements. We consider Graphite a valuable partner and have developed our processes and controls around using the system. I am very satisfied with the simple and efficient approach to onboarding, vetting, and connecting with suppliers as well as the responsive customer support.

Cons

Being an early adopter came with challenges. Building our supplier network was tough and time-consuming but we are now in a great spot. One of the ongoing challenges has been transitioning suppliers who did not initially join the network into in-network suppliers. We have fully built-out profiles that are now outdated because suppliers are joining the network later.

Graphite is incredibly user-friendly and our stakeholders can easily track their vendors' progress. They have full control over their vendor onboarding processes.

Cons

When a vendor is already part of the Graphite network, we face difficulties adding new contacts to complete our questionnaire.

Pros

I appreciate that the responsibility for providing accurate information and certifying it no longer falls on us. It's now the supplier's duty to update their profile, with the Graphite team handling the validation of the data.

Cons

Many features within the system are not very user-friendly. Once you get the hang of it, it's fine but initially, it can be tricky to figure out where to go for certain actions. For example, figuring out how to view the history of changes in each field or using the messaging tool. The filters in the Connections and Tasks tabs are basic and could use an upgrade to allow more detailed searches.

The system is highly adaptable, with a powerful API for web service integrations. I also value the ongoing partnership between the implementation team and our business.

Cons

The customizability is both a strength and a drawback. It can't and shouldn't, be everything for everyone.

It has optimized processes, workflows and efficiency compared to other tools. It's lightning fast, integrates seamlessly out of the box and its intuitive interface makes it easier for users.

Implementing configurations in the existing system can take some time to align with business needs.

It guarantees that vendor data is securely managed and protected.

Cons

There are many features in development that Graphite is working on. It's important to check what's included in the contract and understand what will be available for purchase and when before committing.
