“The right choice

Pros

We have multiple hospitals in our organization and I really like that each hospital has its own programmable screens. No need to share or mix things up between locations.

Cons

This is a solid product. I have had no issues with it at all.

“Makes data collection easy

Logility Platform makes it easy for our company to pull together data from customer forecasts and create a solid demand plan for our supply team to work from.

Cons

In the beginning, the small amount of data throws off the planning tool a bit, so I had to make some manual adjustments. However once enough history was loaded, it started creating accurate forecasts.

“Minimal effort, maximum impact

Pros

I can answer complex questions by putting very effort. The integrations with multiple data sources have been proven quite benefical for us too.

Cons

One of the only issues we ran into with Halo was the limited integration into an SDLC for building and managing code. Another thing we'd love to see is a change in licensing, especially for developer licenses.

“Excellent features and even better support

Pros

It's very reliable and easy to use. The drag and drop interface makes everything simple for us and there are plenty of source connectors to pull in data. Plus, their customer support is top-notch.

I feel like the installation process could definitely be simpler.

The email functionality is great and it's cost-effectiveness is something that makes us like it even more.

I love how easy it is to create dashboards and reports with it. Also the Data Warehouse is transparent and self-service, making things much smoother.

The BI tool takes a while to load which annoys me. Also the upgrading to more bandwidth on the server is expensive.

“Truly exceptional software

Halo is one of those tools that can completely optimize your business. Plus I found its data reports simple and easy to understand.

Cons

Many may find a little tricky to use at first, but once you get the hang of it, it all starts making sense. Other than this, we love everything about it.

“Simplifies BI for all skill levels

Pros

I really like the flexibility it gives to front-end users. Also there's barely any development time needed for formatting charts, color schemes or column headers as we can handle all of that ourselves. The real work happens on the backend, building the cube and defining facts, measures and dimensions. Once thats set up, the tool basically runs itself. I have used QlikView and Tableau before and Halo provides a really smooth, consistent way to spin things up quickly.

Cons

There's definitely a steep learning curve at first, especially with cube settings and understanding the order of operations. But once we get familiar with it, everything falls into place. The one downside is that everything has to be in a cube with a time dimension. If you are working with non-time dimensional data, you'll have to find a workaround. If you are used to QlikView, where you can just load a dataset, you will need to adjust since Halo requires data to be in cube form for the front-end.

There are a lot of great features packed into this software which has proven helpful for us. Also the way it presents data is unique and quite easy to understand.

Cons

As per my experience you'll probably need some training to use it properly as it is not the most beginner friendly software.

The best thing about it is the results it gives us. They are clear, easy to understand and simple to interpret.

Logility Platform works fine but honestly I think the price could be lower.

It is a great platform for data analysis and turning raw data into valuable insights. Also it's really helpful for us in planning supply chain management.

There's a lot of competition from similar software out there. Also, it sometimes crashes randomly for no apparent reason which annoys me.
