“Top-Notch TMS software

Pros

Always straight to the point, no unnecessary extras and easy to understand. Also it is a great portal for us as a logistics partners to handle freight, run bidding and keep track of transportation scores without any hassle.

Cons

I have to clear my history every time I log in, which makes it impossible to save passwords or set parameters on other sites. I am not sure what's causing this glitch, but it gets really old. I cannot even log in with my history intact... every day.

Pros

My customers have really liked the flexibility, ease of use and how quickly the team responds. The service is top-notch and gets the job done in the evolving transportation market.

Cons

There has not been anything that I dislike but testing does require some downtime due to communication issues with warehouse equipment. However, this is not a flaw with the system itself.

“Great for shipping integration

Pros

We have integrated with ScanData to help manage our shipment packages and close them out for domestic carriers like UPS and USPS. They also provide label data for in-house label generation. Their team is professional, responsive and knows their stuff. We have not had any major issues, and when we have had minor ones, they have been addressed quickly. Also it scales well with our changing volume, especially with seasonality.

Cons

There is still some reliance on older Microsoft .NET technologies (ASMX and soap-based services) instead of the more modern REST-based services, but this has not caused any issues with integration.

Pros

It is built for high volume and their team really customizes it for us. And I do not think anyone else in this space has such a powerful parcel manifesting and labeling system for high-volume shippers. They also offer customizations at a low cost. It is a great combo.

Cons

I had heard of other providers before finding ScanData. I just wish I had known about them sooner.

The ScanData VSAM system is quite customizable. Also a lot of the features we requested were already there. All that we had to do is enable it.

Cons

Configurability is a bit complex mainly if it is not set up correctly. But other than that, I found it really easy to use and the support is good.

Transplace TMS software is pretty easy to use and understand. Most of the features are straightforward, making it simple for us to accept loads and bid on lanes without any confusion.

I feel like there should be an option to accept or decline load tenders directly through Transplace.

Easy to use and overall a great product. Plus the reporting is excellent and whenever we need support, they are always there to help.

Testing does take some downtime since it has to communicate with the warehouse equipment but honestly, that is not the systems fault. As it is just part of the process.

Transplace TMS response time is super quick and errors on ScanData's end are almost nonexistent, even with a high volume of message requests which I LOVE the most.

There is some host system downtime when updates need to be performed but it's not a big deal.

Not only is it stable, but it also handles peak periods well without any issues, even when orders increase a lot.

Nothing comes to my mind when I think about cons in terms of stability or support. Even implementing new carriers and handling project work has gone smoothly.

It is easy to use, customizable and the quality is amazing too. The ScanData team is also outstanding. They are available 24/7 to troubleshoot and always deliver on time.
