An excellent platform for managing orders and inventory

Pros

It is really easy to use once you get the hang of all the features. What I love most is how well quotes turn into sales orders and then purchase orders, all while keeping everything linked. Also it makes it so much easier for us to track exactly which quote and sales order are connected to each purchase order.

Cons

I really wish there were more options to customize the platform to better fit our unique needs.

Easy to learn

Pros

Zangerine software is quite easy to understand and quick to pick up. It does exactly what I need and it has made a huge difference in streamlining our internal processes.

Cons

Some features could use quick keys or shortcut buttons to cut down on unnecessary clicks. For example, creating new products should be a lot easier to access without going through multiple steps.

The transition was smooth

Pros

The user-friendly interface and real-time tracking for items and orders are definitely standout features for me.

Cons

It would be great if they added Spanish speaking trainers. Not a huge issue but I feel like it would definitely be a nice addition.

Onboarding was quick

Pros

It is really easy to use and anyone on the team can pick it up without much trouble. In the beginning I was a little worried that our warehouse team might struggle with learning a new system but the training was quite good and detailed. Also the inventory management tools are great, making it simple to track products and manage reordering points. Plus, the barcode scanning, business report generation and shipping label pricing make it a complete solution for us.

Cons

Zangerine software has some light manufacturing features like kitting, assembly and material cost tracking, which are helpful. But if you are looking for a full-on manufacturing solution, this probably isn't the right fit.

We love it...

Pros

The customer matrix is really easy to adjust and the reports that break down cost of goods (COG) and profit are excellent. In short, we like using it.

Cons

I'd love to have access to more types of reports or at least an easier way to customize them to fit our needs.

Reliable software

Pros

Zangerine works exactly as advertised. The implementation process was very smooth and the initial training was really helpful. Their video tutorials are also easy to understand and easy to follow. I highly recommend it!

Cons

Some of the default titles for different sections didn't really match how we use the software, which made things a little confusing at first.

Works great for our film distribution business

Pros

Invoicing with Zangerine is the simplest task and pulling sales reports is just as simple. Also I really like how I can edit fields on the products and inventory pages. If I ever need a custom report, I can request one for a fee. Also, being able to customize what columns I see on the orders or products page by clicking the gear icon in the top right corner is a nice touch.

Cons

I failed to understand some of the sections on the product inventory tab, but that might just be me. I mainly rely on the "Current stock qty" number. These are the ones I don't quite get: Total Purchase Qty, Committed Qty, Total Stock Available and Total Expected Qty.

Pros

What I really like is how I can choose options to customize products without dealing with a complicated process. It's definitely something that stands out to me.

Cons

Very user-friendly

Pros

Importing new products into the database is really easy and I love that I can add different choices easily. If I ever have questions, the tech team is always ready to help and they are very responsive.

Cons

At times I find it difficult to navigate Custom Fields pages.

Setting up is simple and the cost is perfect too

Pros

The system is really simple and easy to use. Also it is available at a great price for both startups and larger companies. Their support team has been fantastic too at handling any issues we've come across, and they built customized reports for us really quickly.

Cons

I noticed that some item fields needed to be customized when I felt they should have been standard. But the Zangerine development team has been really helpful and quick to respond, which I appreciate. On the e-commerce side, though it's starting to feel a little outdated in terms of design. It'd be awesome if there were templates we could choose from and update ourselves.

Great tool

Pros

Zangerine is great software. The team has been fully dedicated to helping us reach where we are now.

Cons

We have had some issues with syncing to our old servers but that is more on our side than anything. There's also been a bit of a hiccup with QuickBooks integration, but thats a work in progress on our end.

Proven to be an all-in-one solution for us

Pros

We really felt like the pricing was a great deal considering all the features Zangerine offers. The onboarding team did an amazing job making the transition smooth for us and they were always quick to help whenever any issues came up. The different integrations, especially for e-commerce and shipping, really bring everything together and make our operations run so much more efficiently.

Cons

We were hoping it would integrate with our CRM and email marketing software. We are really keeping our fingers crossed that these features might be added soon. The development team has been pretty open to some of our suggestions and seems to be making regular improvements, which is great.
