Pros

The best thing is that the online setup is very simple and I like that they provide a free trial without any obligations. The free support is a nice touch as well. I can create my own professional invoices and handle regular payments. One feature I really enjoy is the real-time reporting which is always accessible.

Cons

I am really satisfied with AccountsPortal so yes currently I do not have any complaints.

AccountsPortal interface is highly easy to use. Generating reports like profit and loss statements is also a simple task now.

I would like it more if it offers a direct integration with Shopify and WooCommerce.

Pros

This system is very user friendly and meets all our essential requirements. The invoicing section is excellent for creating both one time and recurring invoices and the reporting tools help us track who has not paid. The digital VAT feature is fantastic as it makes it simple to submit VAT to HMRC.

Cons

I think it needs a refresh as I have not seen any changes in the last few years and the pages feel a bit outdated. While it may be off-topic but having a payroll section would make it a one-stop shop for me!

Being able to create and send invoices mainly recurring ones was very important for us and AccountsPortal makes this process quick and easy.

AccountsPortal is user friendly and offers good support. In short it has proven to be very beneficial for us.

I cannot figure out how to pay just VAT as I need to pay VAT solely on imports.

Pros

The setup is quite simple and I can easily navigate the system. It runs smoothly and covers all the required needed for managing accounts for small businesses.

Cons

I cannot say there is anything I dislike about it for what it offers but for larger organizations, it lacks some features that more expensive packages have like the option to upload PDF invoices and populate fields from them as well as completely live bank feeds.

Pros

I have been using AccountsPortal for over 5 years and I am really happy with the features it provides. I particularly like being able to manage all our accounting needs in one place. Since its online, I can access it from anywhere with an internet connection which is very important for our company.

Cons

I do wish there was support for multiple currencies but other than that I have no complaints about AccountsPortal software.

Pros

We spent three years looking for bookkeeping software that would meet our needs. Most options fell short and many were too pricey for what we required. Then we discovered AccountsPortal in 2014 and it is been great ever since. It meets all our needs and more. Anyone on our team can log in to enter a new order, check bank balances or handle whatever else is necessary. What really stands out though is the service. On the rare occasions I need help which is maybe once a year, I receive quick and clear answers that a non-accountant can easily understand and use.

Cons

Since Central United States is 6 hours behind the UK which means tomorrow arrives earlier for me. So, when we receive an order in the evening I have to remember to set the date back one day.

Pros

AccountsPortal is pretty easy to use and has customizable features. Also it is been great for invoicing and billing which we have relied on for over two years now. I would recommend it to small businesses for their accounting needs.

Cons

Well I get to know that there are not really any sales or marketing tools available.

This just works for me. There is no need for expensive training just a solid general understanding of accounting principles. It is a complete opposite to a system I used in the past that made my life a nightmare.

I have not fully explored automatic reconciliation of statements or producing invoices through AccountsPortal. A few simple walkthrough videos to introduce these features would be helpful.

AccountsPortal is fairly easy to use. If you have a large enough phone screen you can issue invoices while on the go.

The only thing I wish for is the specific app for mobile use on the go. As it is not currently available. Does it count as a con?

An app version is needed because the desktop site is not easy to navigate on a phone.

Pros

We are really big fans of AccountsPortal. Before we relied on a custom system for generating invoices that often required updates and adjustments. Since we switched to AccountsPortal about 9 or 10 years ago handling both regular and one-off invoicing has been seamless. We also use it to send out statements and quotes. Overall everyone is very satisfied.

Cons

There is nothing we dislike about the AccountsPortal.

It is user friendly, my accountant like it a lot and the system very well stores products for both sales and purchases.

My accountant can read everything but cannot write to it. I do not want to give him access to sales and purchases as I prefer to keep that within my domain. Umm I hope that makes sense.

The ease of use is impressive and the updates are beneficial. Since I manage two businesses the option to add another business has been very helpful.

Cons

I often get an annoying error message when logging in that says error, but if I try again I usually get in which is weird.
