“Easy Approval Management
Pros
Managing approval workflows has never been easier. I can handle multi level user approvals effortlessly and set up workflows based on accounts, classes, locations or dollar amounts. The recent receipt capture feature has made automating our entire bill and expense process incredibly smooth.
Cons
I would really like to see more development around expense report approvals for employee reimbursements as that feature would be a game changer for us.

“Quick Setup and Excellent Service
Pros
Setting this up was quick and easy like just a few clicks to connect with Xero and it also works seamlessly with Netsuite, QuickBooks and CIN7. I can create customized approval workflows from simple to complex multi-level approvals, depending on the need. Once everything is configured, the system handles everything automatically. Approvers receive email notifications when bills need their attention and by importing budgets into Xero, they can instantly see how each approval impacts the budget which is really helpful for real-time expense tracking. When bills are approved, the system automatically attaches a complete audit trail in Xero making our interactions with auditors much smoother especially with our not-for-profit clients. We have completely eliminated paper processes and now have full visibility into pending approvals allowing us to close month-end much faster. The customer service team has been fantastic as they are always prompt, knowledgeable and responsive whenever I need help.
Cons
The Slack integration works well for getting alerts about new bills that need approval but you still have to keep email notifications enabled which is a bit annoying. I am hoping they will sort this out soon.

“streamlined expense process with fraud protection
Pros
The approval workflow has really streamlined our expense management process. As Xero Partners working with various clients, we have seen how this handles everything from basic to complex approval chains with multiple authorizers. Our clients now have clear visibility into expenses before they hit the books and we can verify the accounting treatment is correct upfront. The supplier approval protocols add an extra layer of fraud protection throughout the entire accounts payable process which gives everyone peace of mind.
Cons
It makes you rethink your entire approval process which can be overwhelming at first. plus yhe whole team really needs to be on board from top to bottom to get the most out of it and that level of engagement does not always happen naturally.

“Really solid on process control
Pros
Building workflows is pretty flexible as you can make them as simple or complex as your business needs. The integrations with Xero, Dext and other accounting platforms make setup really simple and hassle-free.
Cons
The receipt capture feature feels pretty new and underdeveloped right now. While I don't hate it, I am curious to see how fast they can improve it since this could be a game-changer for bigger businesses using other platforms that lack this functionality entirely.

“Our trusted choice for managing approvals
Pros
The simplicity really stands out to me as it does not try to do everything but focuses on solving core business problems across purchase orders, supplier bills and sales invoices. Setting up the Xero integration was surprisingly simple. Plus the support team is always there when I run into any issues.
Cons
I am struggling to find major problems with this tool. My main concern right now is that the new capture feature is not quite ready to replace what we are currently using as it still needs some development.
