I don't have any negative to say about Board. In fact, I consider it the best. Its intuitiveness is more than enough for me to love it.

Setting up the database is easy, drawing reports is not a problem and the connections with Oracle, DB2 and Microsoft SQL are seamless. It performs well both in the client version and on the web.

Cons

The toolkit logic restricts the use of code for making quick minor changes. It would be beneficial to improve certain objects like cockpits.

My biggest complaint about the system is the time it takes to access support. However, I usually receive the support I need within 24 hours.

During one of my missions, I had the opportunity to use Board, and I was amazed by its numerous features. What I liked best were: the all-in-one nature of the tool, the predictive analysis capabilities, the ability to perform analysis and planning on the same platform, the processing speed, the responsive technology and the possibility to use Excel-like formulas.

The UI could be enhanced, and a stable internet speed is necessary to prevent occasional lag.

Building things from scratch can be challenging without prior expertise. Fortunately, we had the assistance of a fantastic consultant well-versed in Board, which made a significant difference. Without her help, we wouldn't have been able to achieve what she did.

The components of Board are quite simple to understand or learn and provide immediate statistical results. It also facilitates very well in work organization.

The platform performs quite well, although I have occasionally experienced slight delays in task execution.

Oh man, getting all my data into the tool easily was not as easy as I expected. Like any business analytics solution, it takes time to input the information so that the tool can fulfill its designed purpose.

The GUI interface is excellent for users, and no programming is necessary. Business users can make changes and implement BI queries without the involvement of an IT person. Creating reports on the fly to meet specific requirements is also not an issue anymore.

I can only think of a few minor cons, such as limitations on certain features like file import.

On one screen, multitasking is not possible, meaning you can't simultaneously view rows and columns. There aren't enough data filtering options, and once reports are printed, they don't look as smooth and polished. Offline usage could be smoother.
