Pros

The software is easy to use and has streamlined our daily and monthly processes. The hours we have saved from using the software have been invaluable. Working with our point of contact at Board, Jason, was extremely easy. He worked with us to ensure that we had all of the tools that we needed and any issues we had were handled immediately. Any updates or modifications we have needed have been handled in a timely fashion.

Cons

I do not have any cons for Board. As with any new software there are growing pains and glitches to be resolved, but they were easy handled. The software has been tailored to serve us in the highest capacity.

It would be better for BOARD to incorporate more customization options for creating dashboards and reports.

It's incredibly user-friendly, and I don't need any programming knowledge to use it to its full potential. Time-based data analysis is simplified, making it easier to provide context. I can customize the data pipelines to suit our needs, and the display and design options are excellent.

Cons

Customer support's response time is not as fast as expected, but their assistance helps nicely to resolve any issues that arise.

Pros

The program sends real-time alerts for the entire goods route and supply chain, notifying me of goods arrival, delays or mishaps. The fleet management tool allows me to organize and control our entire fleet of trucks, including those on the route, ready to leave, their locations and other important details. It also provides complete tracking of drivers, offering insights into their history, mileage, location and load safety.

Cons

Real-time updates on parcel location sometimes fail to load properly without a stable internet connection. The signature capture and barcode reader may require application and device restarts for proper functionality. Simplifying integrations would be great as substantial configuration is currently needed for the programs to work correctly within the software.

Interacting with data and performing analysis from attractive reports is easy. I can create completely new dashboards and reports or modify the pre-established ones. Board's toolkit is an excellent resource for creating custom analysis and planning applications, saving time and resources.

Cons

If you think you will not have to pay attention on the learning side then you are wrong. But the good thing is that if you will focus on the learning it would help you during understand the software better and eventually it will allow new users to use it to its full potential more quickly.

It has an intuitive user interface, and preparing reports and graphs to share is really easy. The software provides a rich set of predefined data connectors that are ready to use. Accessing different data sources is also simple ad it is free from any complications that disrupt data management.

Cons

Improving the response time of customer support and providing more in-depth documentation on using their functions would be beneficial.

Board is user-friendly, fast and tech-savvy which requires minimal assistance to understand the analytics behind this all in one software. It not only helps with metrics but also provides analysis at all levels and integrates well with SQL to give a complete picture of where the firm stands. The unique toolkit offers a versatile range of features, providing a unified view of projects.

The technical support provided is not enough, as the response time is too slow.

It's easy for me to use. I also like the fact that I am being able to do analysis within the tool and directly take actions. The integration is also an easy process.

The concepts behind it are great and powerful. Setting up new data pools, reports, screens and sharing them with users is easy.

The web-based UI lacks modern technology implementation. Essential documentation, such as syntax explanations, is not available or easily accessible. Some features are located in unexpected places on the UI, requiring a cleaner concept.

I love the flexibility and customizability of the tool as it allows me to use it as per my company's need.

It can be difficult to use the software without the assistance of a consultant.

“Selecting an IBP for a startup

Pros

Startups are known for their chaos and constant change. Implementing an IBP tool helps bring structure to some of the chaos and ensures clean, reliable data for the company. It's highly beneficial to start this process when the company is small and has low technical debt. However, most IBP platforms are expensive and not easily modifiable or maintainable in-house. BOARD fulfills both of these critical needs at an affordable price point.

We are in the early stages of our journey with BOARD, working on defining our processes and data. So as of now, I don't have any specific inputs to provide.

I think everything related to the software is not explained well and occasional slowness in the process cause frustration.

While I haven't gained much perspective on the solution yet, I can already tell that managing the format line by line is a tedious task.

Pros

BOARD doesn't require any programming language which allows users to handle implementation and reporting without IT support. I can implement the same models by collecting data from different sources and combining various types of information in a single report to meet different requirements.

Cons

As the system is entirely web-based, a major improvement would be to ensure compatibility with major browsers (as not all features currently work on some of them).

Pros

With Board, I can have BI reporting, budget/forecast planning and perform simulations all within the same platform. I can set up my Board application without being an IT expert in coding. Board has definitely increased our business knowledge.

Cons

There is room for improvement in the performance when dealing with large sets of numbers.
