Pros

I like the convenience of the Mobile App and the capability to upload receipts instantly.

Cons

Integrating our Company's Capital One credit card has been quite challenging. We have to manually upload credit card expenses, and it's unclear whether this issue stems from Capital One, Emburse, or a combination of both.

The Certify app impresses me with its features, such as instant receipt capture. The online platform adeptly handles our numerous department account numbers and categories. It also facilitates charging to different departments beyond the default one.

Cons

Initially, implementing Certify posed challenges because our bank uses a third-party for credit card processing, and Certify also relies on another third-party for charges. These systems didn't sync well initially. Fortunately, our Certify representative was instrumental in setting up monthly manual uploads, which now work smoothly.

Pros

Certify has streamlined our staff's travel expense submissions. Going paperless ensures timely receipt of claims and prompt processing of expenses. Email notifications are particularly helpful for both employees and management.

Cons

We primarily use Emburse for our itinerant staff who travel between schools daily. Our policy deducts the daily commute. We'd prefer to deduct the daily commute from each leg of their daily travels, not just once. Currently, the system deducts the home commute only when they travel from or to home. For instance, if an employee's daily commute is 20 miles roundtrip and they travel 30 miles, we reimburse them for 10 miles. If they end their travel at a school closer to home, their home commute isn't deducted if it's less than their commuted miles.

Functional and Economical Certify

Pros

The reasonable pricing and the ability to upload receipts, with automatic reading and autofill features, save considerable time. Receipts can be accessed later if needed, and Certify's initial integration support ensured successful implementation.

Cons

Although credit card transactions usually import automatically, manual imports often require several attempts. This could be related to our bank, but it's not a major issue.

Pros

Emburse has simplified expense reporting for our company. From entering receipts and expenses into the system to seamless approval and processing, our employees like its ease and efficiency in ensuring prompt payments.

Cons

There was a hiccup with the ACH payment function in May 2022, causing delays in our employees' payments. As a result, we've opted to manage reimbursements through our bank instead. Emburse facilitated this transition smoothly with their manual payment function in the process reimbursements section.

Cons

Emburse Certify Expense is a game changer!

Pros

Emburse Certify Expense offers numerous outstanding features. One of my favorites is the Mobile Upload option! No need to worry about keeping receipts or fading prints. Just snap a photo, upload it, and you're done! It's highly organized and saves a significant amount of time! There are many other functions that contribute to making this software indispensable for companies with more than 60 employees.

Cons

Converting currencies can be somewhat confusing with this software.

I like how Emburse integrates seamlessly with various software platforms, automatically importing receipts and expenditure. For example, syncing with my Uber Business account ensures receipts are imported effortlessly for expense reporting. I also find it convenient to email receipts or snap photos with the app for instant expense creation.

Cons

Sometimes, filling out expenses can be tricky due to numerous rules. If not entered correctly, the expense isn't accepted.
