“Easy to use Expense Management”
Pros
The software's simplicity surprised me. With minimal documentation, I quickly mastered adding expenses and generating reports. The user interface is logical and intuitive. Moreover, when assistance was needed, the Support Team responded promptly something I'm not accustomed to with support services.
Cons
The interface isn't visually appealing, but it's simple and gets the job done. Ease of use is paramount to me at the end of the day.

“Certify is very easy to use!”
Pros
I like the flexibility with receipts whether capturing a photo or uploading directly to sync. It's also effortless to forward receipts via email.
Cons
Setting up can be complex, requiring meticulous access controls. Sometimes, minor details are overlooked, frustrating employees who lack access or face obstacles. Credit card syncing issues, particularly with Netsuite, are significant drawbacks for our accounting department.

“Poor Implementation and Given Incorrect Information on Functionality”
Pros
The app's ability to self-match receipts and manage corporate cards and expense reports in one centralized location fulfills the exact needs of our company.
Cons
During sales and implementation, we were assured that the system would work with our current bank cards. Unfortunately, after over three months, poor communication from the implementation team revealed that our cards wouldn't integrate, leading to disappointment.

Pros
Expense reporting is so easy with this tool. It’s easy to add receipts and determine whether it is billable or non-billable which makes it easy for our accountant. They do have a blog on their website that shows all their new features that they’ve added to the tool, and how it works. It is quite great of a tool.
Cons
It has a few buttons and clicks that one has to make just to get through and submit the expense report, but I do think that this way we get a change to double check our work.

“Need a slight improvement”
Pros
I am not someone who manages expenses or might certify, I am just a normal user. Although, I do appreciate this application as things are easily imported into my wallet, and the notifications coming in always keeps me informed about everything. I like its ability to scan receipts and upload them, especially when I am travelling. It is a great help.
Cons
They need to improve the distinction between a charge and a receipt as it confuses me, and then I end up adding the receipt into my wallet which cannot be undone, and I have to start all over again with it.

Pros
Certify can directly be integrated with Great Plains accounting software, and this made it so easy for us, and all the data was synchronized. This integration made it a lot more efficient.
Cons
We had to switch to NetSuite accounting software for some reasons and Certify did not have a way to directly integrate with it, which is why we had to stop using it.

Pros
It is easy to manage all our expenses in one place. It has accuracy and speed overall in the system. It is easy to integrate it with our CRM, so employee tracking is easy as well. It is easy to export the expense reports and file it. We’ve been using this system for the last 2 years and we’re pretty much satisfied with it.
Cons
There are times when bugs occur related to the updates and all, but once talked with the team, it gets resolved.
