Love it!

Pros

Simple to operate. The data exports effectively, and they also provide spending analysis.

Cons

The automatic credit card imports are inconsistent. Sometimes it works fine, and other times it doesn't. Additionally, the exported expense reports' file sizes can be too large for our accounting software to handle.

The ultimate solution to simplify and streamline expense and travel management

Pros

From the first use, I was impressed by how easy it is to navigate through all the platform's features.

Cons

I wish the platform had an option to track refunds in real-time. Currently, after submitting an expense report, there's no clear way to know when the reimbursement will be made. Real-time status updates on refunds would be very beneficial.

Emburse Certify Expense Review

What I liked most about Emburse Certify Expense was its intuitive interface and simple expense management process. It made creating and submitting expense reports, capturing receipts, and tracking reimbursement status easy. The mobile app was especially useful, allowing me to capture receipts on the go and quickly upload them to my expense report. Integration with credit card transactions and automated expense categorization also streamlined the process and saved me time. Additionally, the real-time visibility into my expense status and approval workflow provided transparency and efficiency.

Cons

The aspect I liked least was the limited customization and advanced reporting options. The software lacks advanced features for customizing expense policies and approval workflows to fit specific business needs. Additionally, the basic reporting functionality could be enhanced with more robust options and advanced analytics to provide deeper insights into spending patterns and trends.

Pros

I like the wallet feature and how credit card expenses and receipts merge within it. The tool's flexibility for our needs is also great. Many similar tools are set up as self-install, and they offer support, which I really liked.

Cons

The tool for linking credit cards, especially Visa, is unreliable. We couldn't get ours to work, so we had to manually upload our credit card transactions.

Emburse Certify Expense: Streamline Your Expense Reporting Process.

Pros

I am very pleased with how easy it is to create and modify expense reports using this system! It's incredibly convenient to add notes or instructions if needed, and the option to forward reports to another manager for approval is an excellent feature. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the functionality and features this expense reporting platform provides.

Cons

It would be extremely helpful if I could make multiple changes to my expense report all at once. Instead of going through the process of changing the receipt, saving it, then making corrections to the Category, Reason box, and other fields, and saving again, it would save a lot of time if all modifications could be done in one go.

My favorite feature is the ease of importing charges and reviewing the Emburse statement directly from Certify.

Cons

There is one vendor we haven't been able to connect with, so I need to manually upload charges. It's easy to do, but automatic downloads would be preferable.

Solved all of our problems with expense reporting and accounting

Pros

We've been using Certify for over ten years now. Collecting receipts and logging everything is very simple, and the QuickBooks integration is great, although receipts don't carry over.

Certify expense report usage

Pros

The software is simple to use. We have various people using it, and they all manage to figure it out. We are also receiving more receipts than before because it's easy to take a picture and attach it to the expense report.

Cons

We can't restrict departments based on the user, so people can select the wrong information. We review the coding before approving an expense report, which adds extra review time.
