Okay, though not perfect

Pros

Well I really don't know what to say here. It is not that great as there are better options available.

Cons

As I mentioned before, there is nothing special about this software. To stand with other similar products in the market, it needs to make a lot of improvements.

From the time I started to use ClearView InFocus, I am now able to get everything done faster, which is a big plus for me.

A great asset for our business

Pros

I liked everything about ClearView InFocus as it got us our ISO certification.

Cons

We did not use it for too long so for now I have nothing much to say here.

Delivers on its promises

Pros

What impresses me the most about this software is its incredible adaptability as it allows us to customize it precisely to our company's unique requirements.

Cons

Personally, my main challenge with this software occurs when updates are required. For field users like myself with unreliable internet access, being unable to access time sheets until updates are completed is a bit frustrating.

Helps us save money

Pros

ClearView InFocus has proven to be a game-changer for us. It not only boosts our efficiency but also helps us save money by cutting down on staff and operational costs.

Cons

I did not find the export to Excel quite useful. It could be improved by giving more formatting options to make it more customizable before downloading.

Works well for us

Pros

One of the features I like most is the ability to create estimates and track projects without any hassle from start to finish. All expenses are automatically integrated into our invoicing process with adjustable markup rates. Also it is versatile, supporting multiple pricing structures and integrating well with project schedules, resource planning, timesheets and expenses.

Cons

ClearView InFocus interface feels a bit outdated to me. Also it lacks some standard reports found in products like Quickbooks. Moreover the mobile timesheet feature could use an update too even though it is functional.

The interface is good but not perfect

Pros

The interface it has for handling daily accounting tasks is very simple and efficient, which really makes my work a lot easier.

Cons

I feel like enhancing the interface for better compatibility across different products would be advantageous.

Worth the investment

Pros

Clearview InFocus is packed with multiple features that help me improve my project workflows and save me a ton of time.

Cons

Getting started with it was a bit challenging since the learning curve was pretty steep. I had to get training, either from our team or a third-party consultant.

Suitable for smaller organizations

Pros

Not only is it highly intuitive, but it is also easily accessible from anywhere, as I have never encountered any issues with connectivity.

Cons

I would like it more if I had a wider selection of pre-made reports to choose from.

Pros

There are multiple things that I like about it. However, the thing that impresses me the most is that it makes managing and organizing projects so much easier without any hassle.

Cons

It took me some time to familiarize myself with all the features. But one I did, the time spend on it was all worth it.

Decent choice

Pros

I love how easy and fast it is to export reports to Excel. It's definitely one of my favorite features.

Cons

The one thing I don't like about this software is how it handles billing for reimbursable expenses. When it is part of a fixed dollar amount, it doesn't separate the time from the expense, which can be a bit confusing.

Absolutely necessary

Pros

Because it is similar to Excel, InFocus is exceptionally easy to use. We require minimal training time. So if you are already familiar with spreadsheet software, this is one is definitely for you.

Cons

Copying entries on time sheets or APs could be more intuitive, although it's manageable for me as it is.

Pros

ClearView InFocus software really stands out because of its great functionality, flexibility it offers and how easy it is to use.

Cons

Transitioning between project administration and management during budget setup was a bit confusing for me.

A tool that fits every needs

Pros

One of the best things about InFocus is the Gridgits on the dashboard, which pull together all kinds of information into one easy to access spot. Plus the way it handles data entry is amazing and I don't have to keep deleting and re-entering stuff for small changes. I also love the detailed reports, which are easy to understand, plus the check processing for Accounts Payable and Employee Reimbursables through the recent transaction tab is really efficient. Managing timesheets and keeping track of employee benefits hours is also not a problem anymore.

Cons

The thing I find less than ideal about InFocus is that certain functions are not very intuitive (for example, using F4 instead of Enter). I'd also prefer to see more automated benefit accruals and smoother integration with payroll software like Pensoft, especially for companies with salaried employees.

Highly customizable specific needs

Pros

Even though I am not an accountant but a DBA/Software Developer, I really like how InFocus lets me generate customized reports, actions and dashboards both traditionally and analytically and smoothly integrate them. Thats what really makes it stand out from other options.

Cons

Sometimes, I run into inconsistencies between the applets, and it can get pretty frustrating.

Offers the best assistance

Pros

Brock was very helpful. He met with us and created custom tools that really helped us make the most of the software.

Cons

Transitioning from so many self-hosted licenses to a cloud-based platform has been a bit difficult for us due to the initial costs involved.

Highly responsive and helpful customer team

Pros

The customer service we got from InFocus is amazing. Their team is very responsive, whether it's through open tickets, offering walkthroughs on Webex or customizing solutions through work orders. What is even better is that the software lets end-users like us personalize everything from data presentations to security settings, permissions and reports. They also offer us ongoing training through workshops, webinars and updates, which means the software keeps improving with all the latest tech advancements.

Cons

Whenever we face any issues with InFocus, we discuss them with the support team and work together to find solutions that suit our needs. It's kind of reassuring that most issues can be resolved, and the InFocus team is receptive to our feedback and suggestions, implementing improvements that improve our efficiency.

Clearview

Pros

Its flexibility and scalability enable us to focus on operational priorities rather than being constrained by the product. Moreover, its pricing is exceptional compared to competitors.

Cons

Setting up multi-company configurations can be tedious, requiring a thorough understanding of relationships (such as Parent, Child, Sister companies) from the outset.

Accounting and IT Manager

Pros

It's a breeze to navigate, more intuitive than other products we've tried, and highly customizable. Overall, it's difficult to pinpoint a favorite aspect because it excels across the board.

Cons

It would be helpful if users could change the color of the Sandbox (training environment) to distinguish it more clearly from the live version during training sessions.
