Phenomenal

Pros

I absolutely love the product's functionality. It provides me numerous ways to cater to the specific needs of my company. The customer service goes above and beyond. They have extensive knowledge and is always ready to assist me in mastering the product's full capabilities for my application. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Cons

There's absolutely nothing that I don't love about Denali and Cougar Mountain Software. They have surpassed all my hopes and expectations in every aspect.

Excellent Payroll System For Our Non Profit!

Pros

I was filled with excitement when we embarked on our journey to expand our nonprofit. However, we quickly grew wary of the accounting requirements when it came to paying individuals. Denali business has proven to be a remarkable growth step for our organization.

Cons

Transitioning to this platform from our regular payroll system took some time. However, with their support, the process become quick and easy.

Another Best

Pros

There's no doubt that the customer service here is the best. The CMS is easy to work with and allows for excellent inventory management at any level.

Cons

Some additional features come with an extra cost and there are bugs in the payroll system. I am unable to review past transactions, and it can be complex for beginners.

Great for small to mid-size buisenes

Pros

This product operates on a modular basis, allowing businesses to choose from a suite of options without forcing them to purchase unnecessary modules. The modular approach allowed us to acquire what we needed when the time was right.

Cons

The interface feels a bit outdated and could benefit from a revamp. However, the functionality is excellent as mentioned before it just needs an update to the user interface.

Very good solution if you can afford it.

Pros

You have the option to make a one-time purchase or opt for monthly payments. The product can be directly purchased, and the navigation is simple. Two out of the three bundles include Crystal Reports.

Cons

The software has a relatively expensive as the cost is a bit too much. Crystal Reports requires an additional payment, even for the basic bundle. Data entry options and report filters are not particularly intuitive. Most modules lack visual illustrations.

Many features not right. My CPA hates the software.

Pros

I value the history feature, which displays my customers past purchases. Also the inventory benefits from multi-level pricing. These are two must-haves for my business.

Cons

Denali Business is more suitable for simple cash drawer operations. It struggles in a mixed environment with card swipe and online terminals for credit card processing. Even Cougar Mountain doesn't use integrated Card Processing themselves. Credit cards processed through sales do not appear in Bank Reconciliation, yet card payments in AR do show in Bank Reconciliation. When questioned, the management provides odd answers. Many features simply don't function as they should. Warnings about invoices not being printed before posting also include on-hold orders that haven't been printed. Ship-to address files have crossed variables, with the Ship-to Company Name not being used anywhere except in the UI for entering information. Contact name becomes the Ship-to Company name, and this was intentionally designed this way. eDelivery for invoices/statements is still limited to 75 pages per run, even after the software has been around for a year. Their solution is to select less than 75 pages, but then the eDelivery software throws system-level errors. Their solution for this is to reboot your computer, placing the blame on Windows 10 Pro, even if the computer is specifically set up for their software by Cougar Mountain.

Learn something new everyday and great for the price

Pros

Cougar Mountain Denali software proved to be user-friendly and accessible at all levels. It was very easy to use and any issues were promptly resolved.

Cons

Certain features require additional payment. The poor code requires frequent updates, and it's not possible to review past transactions.

Not as good as CMS Pro but heading in excellent direction

Pros

Considering the price, the features offered by this product are excellent and I challenge you to find a better option in the same price range. We have been using CMS since 1992. In fact, one of my businesses still operates on the DOS version. We also use Pro for some businesses and one of them has now transitioned to Denali. The product is top-notch. Although it's not yet better than PRO, most users wouldn't notice the difference. The bottom line is that it provides a solid accounting foundation, is well-organized and more than capable for a wholesale distributor. We heavily customized our system and although that wasn't possible with Denali, we were fortunate to have competent partners. Choosing CMS has always been one of the best business decisions I've ever made.

Cons

The software tends to be somewhat slower in operation. The screens lacks in something like proper color usage which makes it challenging to navigate and see clearly. I wish they would acknowledge the strengths of CMS Pro and put more effort into identifying and incorporating them into Denali. Moreover, the new software programming restricts the ease of moving data and running it from another location. This used to be a significant advantage when dealing with hard drive failures or system relocations, and it will now be much more difficult. While these are not major issues, they are drawbacks from my perspective. Nevertheless, I would still purchase the product without hesitation.

Pros

The system is designed to be user-friendly and offers a seamless navigation experience. I really like the freedom it provides of adding modules at any time. The customer service is truly fantastic!

Cons

I would prefer to have the ability to customize my own reports. However, it's possible that I'm not yet familiar enough with the reporting options to realize if there's already a report available that meets my requirements. I'm still new to navigating the system.

Pros

I am particularly fond of the inventory control. I like that Cougar Mountain provides regular updates and consistently strives to enhance their product.

Pricey and outdated

DENALI is a remarkabe tool
