Pros

Fiskl has become my go to app for invoicing and expense tracking. It supports multiple currencies and is easy to set up and use. While it may not be packed with a lot of features, I find that to be a positive aspect since it focuses on what I actually need. Also their customer support has consistently been excellent.

Cons

Well there are limitations on customizing invoices and templates. The Android app does not always function properly when I try to add new expenses or scan receipts.

“Simple Powerful Invoicing and Collection

Pros

I was looking for a simple way to issue invoices while also having the option to accept deposits, create payment plans and track payments received. Fiskl handles all of that exceptionally well.

Cons

I use a dedicated CRM and a separate proposal software and I wish Fiskl could integrate through Integrately to avoid duplicate data entry but unfortunately it does not. Its a standalone product.

“Simple software for inputting and keeping track of business data

I really like the option which allows me to take photos of my receipts and upload them directly to my Fiskl account. This feature really helps me monitor my income and expenses.

Cons

It took me some time to figure out how to switch to the right currency for each item since I have income and expenses in various currencies.

“A beautiful and easy to use Invoicing system.

Pros

Some of Fiskl's biggest strengths include its clean and attractive interface, support for bank integration in various countries and its user friendliness. I can create invoices in just a few minutes without even needing to read the documentation. Also it is one of the best invoicing apps I have come across. So if you are searching for a simple and easy to use invoicing solution Fiskl might be the right choice for you.

Cons

This is not suitable for someone who needs a complex accounting app. The bank feeds were slow to fetch at least the last time I used it.

“Great Product - but doesn't meet ALL my requirements

Pros

There is a lot that I like about Fiskl. However what stands out to me the most is the user interface, with its easy to navigate screens and intuitive design. You can tell it is very well designed when you do not need to go through tutorials. Also it is not cluttered either as it shows only the essential information. In terms of functionality it accomplishes everything most other invoicing software does and I find that I can complete my tasks with fewer clicks in my workflow which I value. For example while having repeating invoices is not unique, I often need to make slight wording changes on each one. I can simply duplicate an invoice with a click and make those adjustments in under 2 minutes, logging in actually takes longer! I really love this product and will keep using Fiskl for my invoicing needs.

Cons

As my review title suggests, there is a core feature missing, although I believe it is currently in beta. This feature is the ability to pull in bank transaction data to match payments to invoices. Currently I have to manually mark each invoice as paid which interrupts the smooth workflow with Fiskl. Its not a major issue for me since I am detail-oriented and regularly reconcile payments. However I can see how a busy business owner might struggle to keep track of outstanding invoices.

“Very solid mobile invoicing software

Pros

When I first tried Fiskl software, I immediately fell in love with it! It is user-friendly, comprehensive and solid for freelancers and solopreneurs who want to focus on their projects rather than accounting tasks. The best part came after they install or setup the Quotes feature.

Cons

Sadly in Italy Fiskl became useless after the digital invoicing system became mandatory in June 2019 so I can no longer use it. It is very disappointing!

I really like being able to track my mileage and invoice my clients for a job.

Cons

I wish there was a way to duplicate an invoice to use for another client for the same services.

“Essential tool for invoicing and bookkeeping

Pros

Fiskl is not exactly a full bookkeeping tool but it is great for logging transactions, sending invoices, noting expenses and using my phones camera with their AI to manage my budget. The camera app accurately recognizes the text on my receipts and does the work for me. I can create invoices on the go, charge customers using Stripe or PayPal integration and keep track of my gas usage or time spent on a project. It also supports multiple currencies and is simple to use. Definitely worth it!

Cons

I cannot recall anything that causes trouble to me. Well to me Fiskl is worth every dollar.

“Simple, easy and mobile

Pros

It is simple to use, easy to configure and always improving. From day one I felt right at home. Also I really like its minimal and simple interface along with its features like billing, time tracking and contact management.

Cons

They take their time with new features as I have been waiting almost a year for translation. I am still looking forward to the quotation feature, Zapier integration and others. I also really miss having more details in the contact area like the contact's URL.

“Great for tracking mileage

Pros

I really like that I can track my mileage and the app keeps all the trip-related information handy which makes it easy to download when tax season rolls around.

Cons

Setting up taxes can be confusing. It took me quite a while to figure out how to add the sales tax line to an invoice. Even after setting it up, it does not automatically include it so I have to manually add the sales tax to each line item.

“Great for remote sales!

Pros

My remote sales team uses this tool to collect payments as they close deals which means they get paid more quickly. It definitely works and does everything in a proper manner!

Cons

I have no complaints to share. I really like the tool and enjoy using it!

“Great, but not the best

Pros

I really like how well Fiskl handles multiple currencies. I also love the integration with Stripe.

Cons

It can be a bit tricky to bring on your accountant since its hard to grant them access with their Gmail account. I ended up having to contact support for help.

“Really like fiskl for quick and on the go invoicing

Pros

Fiskl app makes it easy and quick to prepare invoices both on the desktop and mobile interface. I can prepare and duplicate client invoices without starting from scratch. The user interface is very simple and highly efficient.

Cons

I do not have any major dislikes towards Fiskl. As I am impressed with the concept.

“Easy to use financial tracking

Pros

I find Fiskl excellent for tracking basic finances for a business. Also it is flexible enough for services, products and expenses but not overly complicated for basic tracking.

Cons

I found that I needed more information in the basic list of invoices and expenses than what is currently provided to make tracking easier.

“A great way to keep track of your fincances as a freelancer

What I love about Fiskl includes its great user interface, the ease of creating invoices and adding clients, the ability to accept payments through Stripe and the mileage tracking feature which is a great benefit for work related travel. Adding products and services makes everything more simple.

Cons

What I miss when using Fiskl includes PayPal integration as it seems odd that I can accept payments through Stripe but not PayPal. I did also love to add suppliers in the same way I can add clients as this would help me track my operations with each supplier and see where I should invest more or cut back. The creation of quotes has been on the roadmap for a while, but it's still not implemented.

“I'm loving this! A simple way of creating professional invoices for my clients...and monitoring my money

I love it as it has amazing functionals. I can send invoices, track time and monitor money owed to me. I am really impressed with Fiskl!

Cons

One thing I really need is the option to link Fiskl to my business bank account. If that were possible I would definitely give Fiskl a 5 star rating!

What I like most about this service is how easily I can keep track of expenses. I just open the app, take a photo of my receipt and it takes care of the rest.

Cons

I wish there were better features for exporting content within the app so that I could use the data in other programs. So far I have not found a way to do that.
