Such an improvement!

Pros

I really like how easy it is to export reports and management information from the system. The drill-down feature which connects different parts of the system is also highly useful. The self-service model lets budget holders check their income and expenses directly. Plus the bank reconciliation process makes it simple and fast to enter cash transactions. The training provided before go live was really thorough too.

Cons

The list of access and security settings for users is extensive which makes it a bit hard to figure out exactly what kind of access is being granted. Similarly reports and inquiries are not always named in a way that makes them easy to find.

Iplicit needs to improve their sandbox

Pros

The customization options paired with a detailed training and setup period made for a smooth installation even during our busiest time of the year impressed us a lot.

Cons

The sandbox can cause issues when more than one ticket is being worked on at the same time. For example if one team resets the sandbox to resolve their issue, it can erase the work of another teams testing. There really needs to be a way to lock specific areas in the sandbox so multiple tasks can be worked on at the same time.

Its a ife-saver

Pros

Iplicit is so easy to use and the functionality that automates tasks to save time and prevent human error has been an absolute lifesaver.

Cons

The formulas needed to pull real time data into Excel are pretty complex.

Pros

I like the management information and easy access to audit trails. Currency management is simple and I love how automation ensures all the necessary information is instantly available. After-sales support has been great and they customized everything to our needs.

Cons

Not much to complain about as it does everything we need and can be adapted to suit any of our requirements.

The next step from Xero

Pros

Iplicit system handles more complex tasks compared to Xero, like consolidations which is really helpful.

Cons

There is a lot to learn and the level of customization takes time to set up.

HUSU can be lil tricky

Pros

Navigating through the system is simple and I like that I can have multiple screens open at once to easily switch between them. Accessing views like P&Ls and balance sheets is quick and extracting information from them is simple and easy.

Cons

I found configuring the approval workflows a bit challenging though that could just be my experience.

Iplicit has been working efficiently

Pros

Iplicit system is really easy to use and has saved me a lot of time through automation. The customer service has been excellent and their helpdesk quickly solves any problems.

Cons

Iplicit only small drawback is that as a relatively new product, there are areas that still need development but the progress has been fast and has not affected the core product.

Great finance system, great support

Pros

I love the management accounts feature that allows you to drill down to invoices for review. The pivot table like functionality is also great for showing management reports with different dimensions.

Cons

I did love to have the option to modify reports ourselves for minor changes instead of needing to go through development.

Iplicit has me swooning over it

Pros

The bank reconciliation, general ledger reconciliation and intercompany transactions are all handled well. The installation was quick and the support team is amazing as they walk you through each step on how to adjust the system.

Cons

I am having a hard time thinking of any issues right now. The updates are frequent and they keep adding useful features.

Iplicit has been a game changer

Pros

Iplicit simple user interface along with the creative solutions made the whole process of installation and going live smooth and easy for us. We decided to move away from Sage because we needed a genuine cloud solution. Within just 30 minutes of seeing Iplicit, we knew it would meet all our basic requirements and solve long-standing issues like multi-entity accounting. Since implementing Iplicit, we have cut costs, improved operational efficiency, saving us days in some areas and allowed better decision-making thanks to the multi-dimensional reporting features.

Cons

Since we have just started using it, its hard to point out any problems with the system. Hopefully it stays that way!

Iplicit for not for profit organisations

Pros

It has been a great help for us with managing our grants and tracking costs for individual projects and grants. I really like the drill-down feature and the way you can attach relevant documents to transactions. The online expenses feature is also a big hit with our staff. Having the app makes it so easy as you just take a photo of the receipts, submit the claim for approval and payment is processed. The fact that all the coding for expense products was sorted during the setup made things even simpler.

Cons

Setting it up to work the right way for our organization has required quite a bit of effort but if you invest the time upfront, the outputs are much better when using the system. The Iplicit support team is always available and quick to respond to any issues.

Iplicit is so easy to use

Pros

Iplicit is very user friendly and intuitive. Our Finance team has really embraced it and enjoys working with it. Importing data from our other systems is also really simple. We recently had an interim audit and the auditors mentioned how easy it was for them to review transactions and access the paperwork. And if we ever run into an issue the support team is quick to respond and help us resolve it.

Cons

Since its a fairly new system, we sometimes need to request new reports or ways of doing things but the support team is so responsive with solutions that its not really a problem. We made a smart choice by going with Iplicit!

Great Cloud based accounts package

Pros

We transitioned smoothly from Exchequer to Iplicit while working remotely during the Covid lockdowns. We received great support throughout the setup and launch. Whenever I forget how to do something customer support gets back to me quickly! Our auditors like how easy it is to navigate and they love that we can attach files, emails and other documents to transactions for quick reference. Online authorizations for workflows have reduced paper use and sped up the approval process.

Cons

With iplicit it is not easy to bulk print sales invoices. We still send out paper copies but the setup seems more geared toward email distribution.

Iplicit should simplify some feature

Pros

Iplicit is loaded with features that make bookkeeping, preparing accounts and reporting feel effortless. Integration was a big deal for us and Iplicits wide range of tech specs offer a lot of integration options. Also its API links perfectly with the software we developed in-house.

Cons

Iplicit budgeting and forecasting features could be simplified and it is something on their development roadmap. In the meantime, we have been using their Excel link to manage it.

A breath of fresh air...

Pros

Our previous software was over 20 years old and could not keep up with recent changes. Iplicit seems to offer a flexible platform that can be customized to meet most of our needs. The training, though remote, has been effective and the company has addressed all our queries with plans to resolve any issues.

Cons

We are still learning the ins and outs of setting up and transferring everything into the new system. Again the Iplicit staff has been very helpful throughout this process.

Best Decision!

Pros

System is very user-friendly even for those without a finance background. It is a complete solution for us which makes it easy to track transactions from start to finish. The pricing is not so high and all-inclusive with no hidden fees for additional features.

Cons

I honestly cannot think of any major issues. There are still features we did like to see developed but they are already on the roadmap and our wish list gets checked off regularly with each update they release.

Overall great software with various features

Pros

The system is very simple with a well-designed interface.

Cons

One feature I did like to see is when revaluing non-functional currency bank accounts to functional currency, the revaluation should only affect the non-functional currency while the document currency remains zero. This would prevent skewed figures in the non-functional currency.

Great Accounting Software

Pros

Need some improvements but its great

Pros

The pricing is great, reasonable with no hidden fees. The apps for mobile timesheets and expenses which come as standard, have been really useful for our remote workers. The product is flexible and we have been able to expand our reporting capabilities. Being able to make corrections to postings has been incredibly helpful. The installation team was fantastic as they really took the time to understand our needs and configured the system to fit our requirements. The wider support team has continued to help us as well.

Cons

Our setup is quite complex and getting the configuration right took a lot of work mainly with the new terminology. But the Iplicit team was there to support us every step of the way.

Still the best decision we made .....

Pros

Moving to a cloud-based system was a major factor for us. In the beginning, it felt like a leap of faith after using on premises software for so long but 2 years later it already feels outdated to have software on-site with all the hassles of networks, servers and backups. As someone who is not tech-savvy, I am glad those issues are no longer relevant. The flexibility to use the system and drill down into various areas makes anything we used before seem outdated and clunky.

Cons

Honestly there is nothing that stands out as a downside for me. I am really looking forward to the inventory feature being available so we can consolidate everything in one place.
