“solid layout but approval delays”
Pros
After moving our accounts payable process to this software last year, submitting invoices to finance has been fairly smooth! The interface and overall functions are definitely two of its stronger points!
Cons
Things get frustrating when multiple approvers or budget managers are part of the workflow because the system can become slow and end up delaying invoice payments. On top of that making edits or correcting pre-loaded invoices is not easy at all.

“Positive experience”
Pros
Getting this up and running with QBO was incredibly quick and using it has been just as easy. Approval tracking is built in which has cut down on a huge amount of back and forth emails and the biggest win is no longer having to keep paper files at all. Seeing those piles of filing disappear has honestly been one of the most satisfying parts.
Cons
Early on there were quite a few glitches while their team figured out what was needed from our side. I still have a few unresolved issues from two years ago so I've had to rely on workarounds although it hasn't been a deal breaker. Applying credit memos also can't be handled inside the software which adds an extra step. If we were a bigger company, I'd be more concerned about the amount of monitoring required since there are several points where invoices can get stuck and end up not being paid on time.

“Go paperless!”
Pros
Switching to this solution helped us go fully paperless which has reduced mistakes and cut down on missing invoices. After moving over from NetSuite, invoice processing also became much faster! A quick review and just a few clicks are usually all it takes to get an invoice processed and ready to be paid.
Cons
One thing that's frustrating is how the software pulls in received purchase orders for a vendor even when they aren't related to the invoice. It also creates additional purchase orders even when one has already been assigned to that invoice :(

“All in one!”
Pros
Everything connected really well with our accounting system (Sage Intacct) and the setup was quick. It's also nice having a complete solution in one place! From invoice capture to routing and payments, all within the same application.
Cons
There's not much to complain about. The only thing that would make it better is being able to message or email staff with questions about an invoice directly inside the application.

“quick invoice payments”
Pros
From day one this solution has been very user friendly and has synced perfectly with our software. It makes it simple to select the invoices that are due and pay them without any trouble.
Cons
One part that still feels a bit complicated is applying a credit memo to invoices.

“support team deserves 10 stars!”
Pros
Hands down, the standout part of this product is the support team! Every issue I've run into has been handled quickly sometimes almost right away. They're patient, friendly, well informed and very responsive. They also think on their feet and have been able to turn around even larger requests fast. For me they absolutely deserve 10 out of 10 stars!
Cons
The bill credit workflow still needs improvement. I'm also unable to get POs in NetSuite to close after entering a bill in this software.

“faster payments and less paperwork”
Pros
Not having to print checks, wait around for signatures and then mail everything out has been a big plus. It has definitely helped us save time.
Cons
I'd like to have the ability to attach a document along with the check. Some of our vendors expect a specific paper or report to be included with the payment so I end up sending that separately by email.

“makes things simple”
Pros
Managing A/P is dramatically simpler! Electronic approvals for invoices and payments feel essential now and it's been a huge relief to move away from email sign-offs, printed invoices and stacks of paper files. I joined a new company and wanted to get this in place quickly and this solution came through. There's slight difficulty at first but once you're familiar with it, the system feels accessible. We spend far less time and effort on A/P now because of this tool.
Cons
It would be nice to have more layout customization like adding our company logo. From what I understand, that option exists for customers on higher-tier plans but not for smaller businesses.

“So convenient”
Pros
Handling invoice capture and paying domestic accounts by credit card or ACH is very convenient. The platform also syncs really well with our accounting system (NetSuite) which helps keep things aligned.
Cons
The credit sync from NetSuite into this software is a recurring problem. We usually have to reach out to customer support to get it corrected.

“simple to use”
Pros
Right from the start it has been extremely simple to use. It works really well with Intacct and the customer support team has been fast, friendly and consistently excellent whenever help is needed.
Cons
One issue I've run into is accidentally deleting invoices from the inbox. It would be really helpful to have a recovery option available in case that happens.

“stands out!”
Pros
Right away this product stood out as a huge time-saver because it cuts down the manpower needed at every stage of invoicing. The OCR isn't perfect but that's true of any OCR system and this solution handles it well by adding a simple review step that takes very little effort. In our case, that review is usually done by an admin who used to spend far more time managing invoices manually. The top features are honestly tied between three standout capabilities: automated workflows that route invoices to the most likely approvers, multi-stage approvals that line up with company spending policies and finally, payment controls that allow a COO or CFO to release as much or as little money as they want for each vendor. It also connects with QuickBooks better than any comparable product I've come across.
Cons
Cost is a bit high although I still think it delivers enough value to justify it. My concern with the cost is really that the efficiency gains are so significant that management needs to be willing to reduce headcount if they want to fully make the numbers work. Any company that is genuinely focused on improving its bottom line will probably see why it's worth the investment.

“Very useful”
Pros
Paying vendors is quick and the document review and retain features are really useful. The payment email notifications are great as well.
Cons
It took a little while to get familiar with the ACH process. It's also better not to use the same date for payments since the bank groups them together and that makes daily reconciliation harder.

“reliable for documentation”
Pros
Switching to this software to make payments takes a lot of pressure off accounting teams by automating a big portion of accounts payable work. It gives you a reliable place to keep documentation, cuts down heavily on paper use and nearly gets rid of checks altogether. It also connects well with NetSuite and the support teams provide solid help before deployment.
Cons
As with most cloud based tools, there are times when it slows down. If your company is transitioning from on premise software to the cloud, that's just part of the reality you'll run into. To be fair this isn't any worse than other cloud platforms whether that's NetSuite or something else. I mention it mainly to set the right expectations and help others avoid frustration.

“helpful alerts and status updates”
Pros
Its alert system keeps expense report and freelancer invoice submissions moving quickly and it lets everyone involved see claim or payment status updates without having to keep checking in with our finance team.

The interface isn't my favorite though that feels more like a personal preference than an actual problem with how the software works.
