ProfitBooks is simple to manage and there is a lot of data readily available for review.
Cons
the user interface needs a lot of update. Basic features like sorting by date, amount or invoice/purchase numbers are missing. Amounts should be displayed in Indian standards such as x,xxx; x,xx,xxxx; xx,xxx,xxx. And when converting a purchase order to a purchase, it does not follow the ongoing numbering series.

Pros
The accounting structure is very solid with reports and analytical statements being really useful. The interface is highly intuitive and all features work well for the user.
Cons
More development is needed for GST features. At the end of the process, its difficult to reconcile the GST balance on the portal with the profitBooks balance. Invoicing could also be improved with options like adding an authorized signatory or a QR code.

The user interface is great and the recent updates have been impressive. Being cloud based means I can access it from anywhere in the world.
Cons
Its necessary to select the period for each window. It would be helpful if we could choose the period at the start and view transactions especially when checking opening and closing balances. It can be a bit difficult at times. And sometimes after entering data and clicking save it shows an error message which wastes time.
