“You get what you pay for.
Pros
You get what you pay for. We've been using Simplicity Collect for years and were very satisfied until Finvi took over. Since then, things have deteriorated to the point where the software became unusable. They failed to update the software with essential features required to comply with state and federal laws and started migrating features, making the software no longer practical to use.
Cons
Features like a client portal can no longer be integrated directly into the collection agencies' websites. The interface is outdated and highly unreliable.

It doesn't provide all the reports we need and offers no support unless you pay a substantial fee. We already pay a monthly fee to use Simplicity.
Cons
The name Simplicity doesn't accurately reflect the product's usage. It's more complex than they described, and the videos don't address "outside the box issues."

Cons
I wouldn't recommend it. The quality matches that of cheaper competitors. If not for potential migration issues, we would have canceled this service years ago. The company recently made changes to their system, which caused problems or removed key features. I was recently informed that phone support now costs extra.

I've implemented Simplicity at three different companies. When I joined a collections law firm, I insisted on switching to Simplicity because it's the most simple software to train employees on, offers the most features, and had a simple subscription model. The support team was always prompt with our requests and even helped add features we felt were lacking. I wouldn't do collection work without this software.

As a law firm, we had to create a way to pull cases for court dates, and printing a receipt is a huge hassle. Additionally, we can't get it to integrate with QuickBooks. What if our county starts electronic filings? Will Simplicity adapt to those changes?
