Pros

It's simple to use, with useful canned reports. The administrative side is also quite simple to navigate.

Cons

The sales team made big promises they didn't fulfill. I worked with Simplicity for two and a half months, but they failed to deliver on what they said was possible.

You get what you pay for.

Pros

You get what you pay for. We've been using Simplicity Collect for years and were very satisfied until Finvi took over. Since then, things have deteriorated to the point where the software became unusable. They failed to update the software with essential features required to comply with state and federal laws and started migrating features, making the software no longer practical to use.

Cons

Features like a client portal can no longer be integrated directly into the collection agencies' websites. The interface is outdated and highly unreliable.

Live Chat support is not helpful .They want us to pay $700+ a month to get a few questions anwered.

Pros

It doesn't provide all the reports we need and offers no support unless you pay a substantial fee. We already pay a monthly fee to use Simplicity.

Cons

The name Simplicity doesn't accurately reflect the product's usage. It's more complex than they described, and the videos don't address "outside the box issues."

Huge let down in service

Pros

It's fairly simple. Before recent changes in policies, the company would have earned a 5-star rating.

Cons

I wouldn't recommend it. The quality matches that of cheaper competitors. If not for potential migration issues, we would have canceled this service years ago. The company recently made changes to their system, which caused problems or removed key features. I was recently informed that phone support now costs extra.

Great Debt Collection SoftWare for the money

Pros

Simplicity is an excellent debt collection software for the money. They are continually upgrading and improving their offerings. It is easy to learn and operate.

Cons

I can extract anything I need from the system but wish there were a few more parameter choices for reporting.

I've used this collection software since I started my business. Now, four years and thousands of accounts later, Simplicity decides to increase their monthly fees by 150% for small business owners, making it impossible to continue using their service.

Cons

Small collection agencies are struggling during this pandemic as most Americans are unemployed. What does Simplicity do in response? They increase their monthly software price by 150%. Thanks to Simplicity, a loyal customer is now out of business.

SimplicityCollect Hits The Mark

Pros

It had everything I wanted in a debt collection system. It offers a high level of customization to meet your department's needs effectively. Technical support is prompt and efficient, working closely with you to ensure the initial setup and training meet your specific needs. SimplicityCollect has an online help guide and videos for ongoing training. They have live chat for problem resolution and a solid list of partners for payment gateways, skip tracing, and more.

Cons

I'm old school and prefer having a manual to read. I printed my own manual for everyday use. This might not be an issue for many people, but it was important to me.

Simplicity Collect issues

Pros

Easy to use for collectors. Basic reports are simple to export.

Cons

This past week, I've had intermittent access to the software and received canned responses about the issue. I've requested a callback from management but haven't heard back yet. Very rarely does someone answer the phone when I call. We will be evaluating other platforms due to these issues and the lack of updates when problems arise.
