It's very easy for me to use and navigate. I can easily integrate it with other APIs, and the AI function is a significant advantage in today's world.

I find integration to be a bit problematic as it requires a lot of authentication. Additionally, it's not very mobile-friendly.

The top five features I love are: user friendliness, ease of use, drill-down capability, multiple level group creation and a flexible chart of accounts. The codeless chart of accounts is also a notable advantage.

There are two things that I think needs to be improves. Firstly, the scalability to hardcore ERP levels of performance and secondly, the effectiveness of the mobile version.

I've been using TALLY ERP 9 (6.3.3) and older versions, and I find the voucher and account management easy to use since I've been using the same software for 25 years. However, after the introduction of "TALLY PRIME," I encountered several issues.

Cons

Unfortunately, Tally has been disappointing as it doesn't work properly without getting frequent support from Tally's customer service or partners.

TallyPrime is a highly efficient software that facilitates accounting from both a business and auditor's perspective. It offers features connected to GST return filing, income tax and much more. The best part is the inventory management, along with salesman-wise sales and commission calculations, which simplifies my life.

Cons

My suggestion would be to improve the report generation process in Tally Prime. It was much easier in the previous ERP version, but in Prime, it has become more complex and time-consuming, particularly when generating GST reports.

There are limitations in terms of features, the software is an older version, customization can be complex, customer support and documentation quality are areas of concern, and there are doubts regarding data security and backup practices.

Tally Prime is much easier to understand and record transactions compared to other software in the market. It offers various shortcuts and predefined letters that speed up tasks. Its integration with other software makes it one of the best options for tax computation and financial reporting.

Cons

The software's UI feels outdated and inflexible, and there are several areas that need improvement. Moreover, updates are not released frequently. It becomes challenging to use when entering bulk entries without sufficient knowledge of its internal workings.

I used Tally ERP 9 before, but Tally Prime is a fantastic version. It's easy to use, and it offers detailed export options. In Tally ERP 9, the option to create a purchase order narration was not available, but Tally Prime has that feature.

Cons

The narration feature is the best option as it makes it easy to identify each product. I also wish to have this option available for efficient inventory management.

I am using Tally Prime for the past 7 years, and I find it easy to manage my accounts.

Tally Prime 3.0 is nothing like the earlier version of Tally that I liked so much. It used to be very friendly, comfortable and smooth for all reports and accounting. But now, uff...

Cons

I have no idea who developed this 3.0 version, but it is the worst update I have seen in Tally's history over the past 16 to 17 years. I have been using Tally from version 5.4 to Tally Prime, and this update is the most disappointing. The reports don't match, there are discrepancies in GST 3B and trial balance, the quantity (UQC) is not properly updated and so on.

When using Tally Prime, it's very easy to handle petty cash details, payment and receipt details, invoicing and, most importantly, it's very easy to understand.

Cons

I haven't encountered any issues while using Tally Prime.
