“Clear impact stories

Pros

The UpMetrics framework for organizing our data and showing our impact is incredibly clear and meaningful. It has made telling the story of our nonprofit's work so much easier. We've brought together data that was once stuck in different departments to create one unified story of our impact. It saves us time and boosts our confidence in reporting by turning complex analysis into insights that are easy to understand.

Cons

Honestly, the only hiccup we had was starting with UpMetrics right when they were launching a new, upgraded platform. This meant we did our initial framework work offline and had to move it over once the new system was ready. But the wait was totally worth it.. the new platform is amazing.

Pros

This platform gives my organization a simple way to view, analyze and report on all the data we collect, from attendance and demographics to our annual program surveys. The filtering options are so powerful that we can really dig deep to uncover trends and understand our participants experiences. I also really appreciate how responsive the UpMetrics team is. They've taken the time to create a platform that feels tailored to our unique needs.

Cons

It's not really a con but we haven't started using the Goals or Stories features yet.

“Effective for proposals

Pros

The virtual interface and data coding are very effective. It's one of the best tools for professionally organizing proposals and plans and for developing detailed results. It's definitely worth the price.

Cons

The dashboard could use an update and the software needs some newer templates.

“Customizable dashboard

I love that the dashboard is customizable and updates automatically.

Cons

The only minor hassle is having to upload our data through Google Sheets but that's pretty standard for any data service.

“Turns data into stories, instantly

Pros

UpMetrics quickly turns our raw data into an easy-to-follow story. We used to wait months to get digestible reports but now it happens in real-time. This lets us see exactly where our program is excelling and where it needs improvement.

Cons

We weren't using a data collector that automatically connected to UpMetrics but their team worked with us to find a solution that avoids manual entry. They completely understand how important this is for us going forward.

“Adaptable support!

Pros

It's been a pleasure working with this tool for the past few years. The staff are personable, knowledgeable and really take the time to listen to our evolving data needs. Each year, they've successfully adapted to help us improve how we access, share and visualize data across our organization. We highly recommend them.

Cons

Because UpMetrics builds features based on what organizations need, there can be occasional bugs especially when testing new beta features. But for the most part, they're really quick to fix any issues that pop up.

Pros

This platform gives us a complete, 360-degree view of our impact. As a data-driven organization, we need to effectively show our impact to donors and UpMetrics gives us so many ways to not only communicate our long-term results but also quickly share compelling visuals with our network.

Cons

Since we store all our data in Salesforce, a direct integration between Salesforce and UpMetrics would be a huge plus.

“Great for donors

Pros

The impact profile is perfect for sending to potential donors or anyone interested in our results, it's simple and clean. I also love how easily we can customize how we display our impact. The "stories" feature is another great asset, instead of keeping testimonials in a Word doc, we can now store them in the platform and grab quotes whenever we need them.

Cons

We're still in the process of getting everything set up. The software itself isn't hard to use but adapting it to fit our specific data structure has been a bit challenging.

“Valuable dashboard

Pros

Dashboard is an incredibly valuable tool for showing the impact of our programs to participants, funders, staff, our Board and supporters. We were able to get a functional dashboard set up very quickly after providing our data to the UpMetrics team. The software is dynamic, intuitive and easy to navigate.

Cons

I genuinely didn't find anything I didn't like about the software.
