Wave Accounting's interface is really polished and I can easily move around when handling accounts, sending invoices and tracking income.

For our business, we discovered that Wave doesn't provide every feature we require so it falls short of covering all the capabilities we rely on.

I love that the Wave Accounting app is completely free for small business owners like me it's incredibly useful. The layout is simple and user-friendly, very easy to navigate and the clean interface helps me save a lot of time on bookkeeping tasks.

their customer and technical support have been disappointing and have caused me a lot of problems. I also cannot integrate Wave with third-party apps and that restriction is a major drawback for my workflow.

When I tried to prepare financial and other reports, I found it really hard, the system doesn't display month-by-month data and I cannot customize the reports to suit my needs.

it's basically been a disaster, the two main headaches are the flaky bank connections and the total lack of real customer support. The bank links don't sync reliably so transactions won't update properly for accounting or payroll. Then there's support. there isn't any human help, just a chatbot that sends you around in circles and no email or phone number to reach a person.

To start with, the basic functionality is FREE aside from some optional add-on services they've recently started charging for. It's easy to create invoices and bill clients. I managed to plug it into my startup's workflows and it boosted how professional we looked. I appreciated the mobile convenience because I could handle my business finances on my phone, chase overdue invoices, reconcile payments, keep an eye on the cash flow and personalize all messages with my brand's colors and logo.

Cons

It disappointed me that many functions are restricted to US users and I couldn't find the mobile app in my region's app store. People outside United States may face limitations particularly when linking bank accounts or credit cards and they might be unable to use the mobile app.

My go-to feature has to be the invoicing tool. After I enter my business details, logo and so on it stays set up and ready whenever I need it. Plus I appreciate being able to duplicate invoices because it saves me time.

I do not have any negatives to report about Wave Accounting which is why I have been using it for over 4 years now.

Setting up the software was effortless, the invoicing tools are incredibly powerful and overall Wave serves as a really capable system for small businesses. If you're still manually putting invoices together in Google Docs, do yourself a favor and jump onto Wave, I personally signed up and haven't looked back. I could teach someone to navigate this platform without much trouble so bringing new hires up to speed with my preferred invoicing app would be extremely easy.

They should improve how easily users can change currencies. I deal with both USD and JMD and occasionally need to invoice clients in each currency separately.
