For starting up my small business, this free accounting option is amazing. I find it really easy to use and it has great sharing capabilities with my accountant, plus optional add-ins that increase its usefulness. The reconciliation tools are, in my experience, the best I have used.

Cons

I find jumping from one section to another a bit clunky and creating invoices becomes tedious when I have to add a new customer. I also wish there were an optional anonymous guest access so someone could view without a full account.

Since we put this solution in place, we don't worry about pulling reports on our company's financial performance anymore, the interface is easy to navigate and the report-generation capabilities respond quickly and reliably.

it's simply a tool that fulfills our needs and I have never had any regrets about using it.

I am really grateful that there's a free tier aimed at small business owners, it's outstanding. Beyond that, the app performs reliably and setting it up and navigating it is incredibly easy and user-friendly which feels like a genuine relief.

Cons

I get that every company has to generate revenue and I am sympathetic to that. Still, the recent change that forces me to download an invoice before sending it, instead of letting me email it directly from inside Wave, adds an unnecessary extra step to my workflow that I find a bit frustrating.

Creating invoices, sending them to customers, and receiving online credit card payments is very simple.

This used to be a very comprehensive free platform, but now they've started charging for some of the best features, like capturing and coding receipts. It used to be free, but now there's a fee for it.

I like the ease of use and functions that meet my business needs. It allows for branding and customization of invoices. I love being able to clone invoices, saving time for repeat services to the same clients (such as in my art coaching).

Cons

I'm disappointed that Wave removed Wave Receipts for non-US clients. This feature was crucial for documenting physical receipts on the go and integrating them into the online Wave system. Now there's no alternative for integrating hard copies of receipts into the Wave system.

I discovered Wave while searching for a platform to invoice my freelance clients. I needed something easy to use, that kept records for tax time, and was customizable without excessive fees. I don't use Wave to its full potential, but it works great for me!

No major complaints it's a bit challenging to integrate with Shopify, but considering it's a free service, I highly recommend this invoicing platform.

Creating and sending invoices is easy. The charts are visually appealing.

They withdrew money from my account to pay payroll taxes but didn't remit the tax. It's impossible to speak to anyone there, and they take forever to respond. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

As far as I know, it doesn't handle costing per order or inventory management.
