“Auto-categorizes past transactions

Pros

Wave is really user friendly when it comes to reconciling my business expenses as it auto-categorizes transactions based on how I handled them in past years which saves me time. The invoicing process is also pretty easy to use.

Cons

That said the invoicing feature works well for individual, one-off bills but it doesn't play nicely with other apps or more automated checkout systems I use. I find it awkward to manage service inventory because I end up creating a new 'product' for every custom service and then I have to sort through a growing list to find what I need.

Using it, I find handling and managing invoices extremely simple and easy!

I honestly don't have any complaints about Wave because I think it's excellent and reliable!

Honestly I cannot think of anything I dislike, the app just works well for me.

With Wave, I find accounting far simpler since it automatically stores the full history of every transaction and activity performed and that really helps reduce manual mistakes.

I find Wave is very tied to live data and expects me to provide information in real time which can sometimes feel a bit demanding.

I think the platform's features are excellent. Also it is pretty simple to operate though maybe not the most user-friendly interface but still easy to navigate.

I have noticed the platform doesn't integrate with other systems used across the transportation industry.

I can easily access my payrolls directly from the emails I receive which makes checking pay simple.

Cons

On my phone, the app needs to be more user-friendly, it repeatedly prompts me to create an account as an employer which makes the experience frustrating and confusing for employees like me.

Wave is incredibly user-friendly and free, I can easily generate invoices and keep an eye on my expenses without any fuss

Although I appreciate Wave for easy bookkeeping, it lacks several capabilities I rely on. I'd love to see features like project tracking and a built-in CRM too

It is really easy to create invoices and estimates. I can also send invoices, reminders and statements right from the app. My customer database is also simple to use and it has many of the tools I need to run my business.

So far I haven't run into any real drawbacks. I have been using Wave for about three and a half years.

For my single-owner small business, Wave is incredibly affordable and really easy to use. It's taken the worry out of my accounting and I can hire a pro bookkeeper if I need one. Adding my accountant to my account was pretty easy too and I can invoice clients and keep track of payments.
