“Bring back the conversion feature

Pros

WolfePak ERP software does an excellent job with oil and gas accounting. What I really like are the regular updates and upgrades that come every year.

Cons

Its conversion feature is not available for all reports and file conversion can be messy when its not a simple option. I am also disappointed that San Antonio was removed as a location for the user conference. We have a significant user base here so I hope you will consider bringing it back.

“Great customer support

Pros

WolfePaks customer support is great as whenever I have faced any issues, they are always there. Also I have noticed that they listen to feedback and make improvements to the software based on it. And the software itself runs smoothly and I have never encountered any problems.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve involved when it comes to how the modules interact but its something that can be easily overcome.

Well I have been using this product for over 25 years. And I must say it is really easy to access information and generate reports.

Cons

I sometimes run into issues with updates but the good thing is that they are usually resolved with a call to the support team.

Some of the reports are harder to access in WolfePak compared to other accounting software I use.

To be honest the program is pretty easy to navigate.

It would be great if the company offered some training or help specifically designed to those of us outside of the oil and gas industry.

Pros

I use WolfePak LandPro which integrates with the accounting software through spreadsheets which eventually makes it simple for me to transfer data. In short that process has gone smoothly.

Cons

WolfePak system is not fully synced yet like with legal well descriptions but they are actively working on it.

We have been using WolfePak since 2008. It is user friendly and also it is easy to train new employees on. Furthermore it covers all of our accounting needs perfectly.

Cons

It is in the past year only that we have had any issues with WolfePak. When we reach out to technical support we were not that confident that the technician will have the knowledge or understanding to properly address or fix the problem but we were wrong.

WolfePak ERP system is simple to use and helps you find exactly what you need.

I wish there was an easier way to look up invoice numbers and check their status.

This software is user friendly. We usually only reach out to support when trying something new and in the past, the team has been amazing and always helpful. Also the updates to WolfePak have been relevant and very useful for financial processes.

Cons

WolfePak current support from the support team is not the best. Given how much we pay for it, the service does not seem worth it. I am not sure if we will continue using the support or even stick with WolfePak next year.

Customer support of the WolfePak ERP is one of the best. WolfePak ERP software is always being improved.

With WolfePak there are some limitations when it comes to financial reports and the chart of account numbering.

You definitely need some background knowledge of the oil and gas industry to fully learn about the software more well.

WolfePak ERP software is easy to use and its reporting functions are better than the most of the accounting software out there. Its also highly customizable to meet various needs.

WolfePak is amazing for tracking expenses at any level I need. I especially love the scanning module because it allows users to view invoices and other important documents without digging through files or asking repeatedly. Plus all business areas from production to financial reporting can be managed within WolfePak which makes it a complete solution for our entire business.

Cons

My least favorite part of WolfePak is that some modules still do not fully integrate which means duplicating work. I understand that my next point is being worked on but some options for completing tasks are hard to find and their placement does not always make sense. Lastly, there are a few issues I have reported to customer support multiple times that still have not been resolved.

WolfePak really helps make our work smoother. Also I like that all the information is centralized and we can generate different reports to get the data we need.

Cons

WolfePak is not easy to use mainly for someone with no prior experience.

WolfePak ERP software is generally easy to use and whenever I run into an issue customer service has always been helpful.

I am not sure I have a clear answer. Maybe I am biased because I have been using it for so long.

“WP is pretty flexible

Pros

Customer support is always required and I must say that WolfePak ERP customer is great. I am happy we switched to WolfePak from a cheaper, less efficient oil and gas software. WolfePak offers more flexibility and faster processing. Also it is excellent for daily use as it is quick and easy to navigate.

Cons

It took some time to not only learn or understand the basic tasks but also to understand how the software manages data and how to tweak it for less common tasks. This led to quite a few tech support calls. For example, in the revenue module, I wish the Payout Maintenance could pull data from the owner files instead of having to manually enter everything. I did also like to see more consistency in the placement of action buttons like Add, Change, Delete and Find, across the common screens. It would really cut down on redundant tasks.

WolfePak ERP software is very user friendly. I did not receive any formal training before using it but I had no trouble figuring it out because its so well-organized.

Cons

WolfePak color scheme is the one thing I do not like about this software. I know its not a big deal but the gray feels really dull.

One thing I love about WolfePak is how easy it is to use. It feels as familiar as working with Word or Excel.

What I like least are some of the reporting features. A few reports are not as detailed and we often have to export multiple reports and merge them to get the data we need.

Whenever I am unsure about something, I can usually find the answers in the help section. If that does not solve it I can call customer support and they always help me resolve the issue quickly. There is always someone available to assist right away.

Cons

WolfePak biggest downside is that only one employee can access the software at a time.

WolfePak is very user friendly and meets all the needs of our organization. The employees are always friendly, helpful and easy to reach when needed. Also WolfePak ERP software is regularly updated to meet industry standards.

I have not come across many dislikes. Sometimes the report writing does not meet my needs but most of the time, a quick call to the support team helps find a solution.
