Accounting software that delivers

Pros

ZipBooks is the best for managing my business finances. Plus it covers everything I need from tracking expenses and bills to handling invoices and payroll. Having all these financial tools in one place really streamlines my workflow and keeps me organized.

Cons

The basic version only covers very basic tracking needs. If you are running an agency with multiple project cost centers, the subscription can get pretty expensive.

One-of-a-kind accounting toolkit

Pros

The bookkeeping functionality really helps organise my workflow and all the features feel well-suited for everyday use. I have been using the accounting tools regularly and find them simple to navigate. What really stands out is how affordable it is compared to other options in the market.

Cons

Got just one month free before they started charging monthly. I just wish I got a little more time. However everything works fine and is easy to operate but I feel like it could use some additional features.

The best in the industry

Pros

I am impressed by how simple this platform is to navigate with its clean design and comprehensive tracking features for my freelance work. The free plan is unbeatable as it offers unlimited invoices and customers without any restrictions which no other provider offers. After testing around ten different solutions, I chose this one specifically for that feature though I quickly realized I needed the time tracking upgrade too. Creating projects and jumping into work is incredibly fast and when it's time to bill clients, I just select the customer and everything automatically populates as the time spent is calculated and added to the invoice seamlessly. Before this I was juggling separate invoicing and time-tracking tools which made billing such a hassle that I would put it off until month-end. Now everything happens in one place. The email notifications for invoices look professional and modern, with a prominent Pay Now button that makes it easy for clients to pay quickly. Navigation is also simple thanks to the side panel and helpful instruction windows guide you through features you haven't used yet. Instant chat support is always accessible right from the dashboard so no hunting around for contact options. And every time I have had questions I get real-time responses that actually solve my problems. After months of searching for the right balance of features and value, this tool delivers exactly what I needed.

Cons

The main issue I have come across is with invoice customization. There is basically just one template available and while it looks clean and professional, your customization options are pretty limited. You can tweak what information gets included and change the accent color but the overall layout stays the same regardless of which settings you adjust. Other platforms out there give you way more template choices and complete customization control.

Time-Saving Tool with Great Support

Pros

I find this accounting tool to be a real time saver allowing me to focus on more valuable work. Setting up automated invoicing is also simple and tracking my team members is hassle-free. The pricing is great too as you get lots of functionality without breaking the bank. When the solid documentation does not cover something, their customer support team is very helpful and guides you through any issues. The customer review system they provide has been valuable in enhancing our service quality.

Cons

It is clearly designed for US customers only. I cannot add bank accounts from other countries which is frustrating since we are not based in America. So hopefully they will expand support to other regions soon.

Nice support team that listens

Pros

Well I am constantly impressed by how fast the team responds whenever I have questions or run into problems and they always handle everything with such a friendly, personal approach. The support staff, especially Karin and Emily are absolutely amazing at walking me through any challenges that come up. Having this kind of backup lets me concentrate on actually running my business instead of stressing about whether important accounting details might slip through the cracks.

Cons

I have run into technical problems with my bank pretty regularly but it's always been on the banks end, not this platform's fault.

Helps manage your finances efficiently

Pros

ZipBooks software is really helpful for managing company finances especially if you are running a small or medium business. Plus it comes with all the right tools to keep accounting organized and track everything properly. The best part is that we don't need much experience to get started as the interface is simple and quick to navigate making daily operations smooth.

Cons

To be honest I cannot really pinpoint anything specific I dislike about this program as it has excellent tools for managing company finances. Maybe with some tool updates it could become even easier to use than it already is.

Simple Time Tracking with Some Setup Challenges

Pros

I really like how simple it is to monitor time spent on different projects and then turn that into invoices without any hassle. Whether you are working solo or overseeing a whole team everything stays organized in one place. The pricing is also quite reasonable for what you get.

Cons

The setup feels a bit awkward particularly when we were trying to figure out the difference between projects and tasks and when I am logging time entries and need to assign them to projects, the search function does not always cooperate.

strong and budget-friendly tool

Pros

The customer service really stands out. While the software itself is pretty simple to use but having their team readily available whenever I run into questions or need assistance makes all the difference.

Cons

When it loads time entries, there is no option to sort them by date or project as you have to manually rearrange everything yourself.

No regrets since switching

Pros

I have been using this for years and also work as an IT consultant installing various accounting software for clients. This platform is exactly what cloud-based solutions should be user friendly, accurate, simple and reliable. Sure every system has occasional hiccups but the support team is fantastic and accessible right within the app itself. So if you are considering switching to a better accounting solution, this is the way to go.

Cons

Browser-only access makes mobile use frustrating. As someone who relies heavily on G Suite, the lack of contact synchronization is a major pain point that slows down my workflow.
