There's limited data transformation functionality within the platform and formula customization options are insufficient. It doesn't auto detect data types (like currency), which is a bit of a hassle.

Looker tends to freeze or hang up when working on reports with many elements. Sometimes I have to close and reopen the browser to fix strange errors.

My favorite feature of Looker is LookML, which has helped me simplify complex data relationships and save a lot of time. Looker also offers a variety of customizable visualizations, with advanced drill-down capabilities that make it more interactive. Also reports can be scheduled for delivery at specific times.

There are occasional lags when processing large datasets, which can be a downside. I also find the lack of an ETL feature in Google Looker disappointing as it seems like something that should be included by default.

No real cons but I do wish more apps had the ability to automatically export data to Looker.
