“Licensing options that work for different types of organizations
Pros
Lucidworks is a powerful platform for processing our large data, helping IT teams with document queries, NoSQL indexing and database creation. The best feature I like is the contextual search, and the data visualization is top-notch and easy to use.
Cons
The cost is quite high and the lack of a free version is a bit disappointing for our small-scale clients. Also, the absence of fraud management is a feature I miss.

“AI-driven search solutions for enterprises
Pros
I appreciate the ability to scan millions of documents hosted on our intranet while keeping them secure.
Cons
The upfront learning costs aren't ideal but they can be reduced if you have enough documents and admin time.

“A top-tier experience for fast and secure data access
Pros
I really enjoy having full control over all the collections and datasource settings. Additionally, the multiple options for generating query pipelines and the speed at which data sources are loaded are fantastic. The interface is very user-friendly and provides quick access to various configurations. I also like how the handling of roles and permissions is well-detailed, allowing me to limit tool security effectively.
Cons
There are some occasional issues, such as not being able to see jobs or having limited flexibility when changing data types (e.g from an int to a string). Also when you delete a field, a log is sometimes left behind, which causes problems if you try to create another field with the same name but a different type.

“I fully recommend it!
Pros
The Fusion tool is an amazing application that integrates well with Apache Solr. The benefits from using the licensed version really sold us, particularly the ability to enrich queries sent to Solr through query pipelines. The Scheduler feature also allows us to run delta updates at convenient times.
Cons
The Banana dashboard isn't usable but this has been updated in version 4.1+. As the tool continues to evolve I'd like to see clearer communication about how changes to performance impact individual components.

“Primarily relied on secondary data sources
Pros
Compared to other technologies, it would be helpful if Lucidworks could improve the node-out and node-in processes to make them smoother.
Cons
Cross-data center replication still hasn't been implemented correctly.

“good for support with Apache Solr
Pros
Working with Solr, we encounter various scenarios and it's great to get help quickly. The Lucidworks support team has been incredibly helpful and it also offers opportunities to learn new features and participate in community discussions.
Cons
Im doubtful of how effectively we can use the support. If we don't raise tickets, we mostly don't get much help. This isn't a huge complaint but it would be nice to receive proactive support especially for new features and bugs.
