Lets me build a wide range of insightful charts and the overall visual experience looks really impressive without taking much effort.
Cons
Honestly, there's nothing specific to complain about since I've been happy with the product overall.

“strong reports and automation”
Pros
The free version is surprisingly powerful. I can build pretty much any report I need, connect to a wide range of data sources and even set up subscriptions to send reports automatically.
Cons
One issue I've run into is when a visual depends on relationships with different conditions at the same time. Things can split apart and getting the result I want becomes difficult.

“Handy templates”
Pros
Built in templates for chart-based data visualization are really helpful and sorting data takes much less time compared to other tools.
Cons
The pricing could definitely be better. Other than that, everything else feels fine and a simpler pricing approach would likely attract more customers.

“Broad connectivity”
Pros
Getting started with the basics is simple enough and the built in connectors make pulling in data from different sources pretty painless. If you are not dealing with heavy transformations, most beginners should be able to put together a report without much trouble. For people who already know Excel well, DAX feels like a natural progression so creating more advanced work tends to be much less frustrating.
Cons
Uses a lot of memory. That makes some sense since it is working with data from multiple sources but it can still feel a bit slow when the PC starts bogging down and other applications begin crashing. It also seems pretty tightly linked to Edge and whenever Power BI crashes, Edge usually goes down at the same time.

“stunning visuals and live insights”
Pros
Power BI has been fantastic for building data visualizations because there are so many possibilities to work with. The real time analytics feature is another big plus. I've been using it for around 18 months so I wouldn't call myself an expert yet but I really enjoy seeing what others create and then trying to recreate some of those ideas on my own.
Cons
It definitely comes with a learning curve. Moving from a basic user to a more advanced one takes time but the online classes from Microsoft have been helping me build my skills and improve steadily.

“Amazing Excel integration”
Pros
Coming from Excel, it feels very familiar, almost like an extension of it. Once you understand the basics, it becomes pretty simple to work with and manage.
Cons
Keeping visualizations simple can take extra effort when you're working with large amounts of data since you often have to pre-filter everything with formulas first.

“dynamic reporting and mobile access”
Pros
It's a very dynamic tool that lets us present company results, deliver reports, analyze data, track KPIs and review time and motion metrics. The mobile app also makes it much easier to check results from anywhere and stay up to date at all times.
Cons
At the moment, the tool is working quite well for us.

“strong sharing capability”
Pros
One thing that worked really well for me was the connectivity through gateways. It makes it simple to connect data sources and build visuals without much hassle. Sharing reports with multiple people is also really helpful and works very well.
Cons
The downside is the cost especially when you want to use advanced sharing options, more capable visualization capabilities and other higher end features.

“dashboards that tell a story”
Pros
Creating insurance dashboards has been a really positive experience. With just a few clicks, I can put together dashboards and combine different kinds of visuals, like geographic maps and bar charts, all in one place. It makes the data come together in a way that naturally tells the story on its own.
Cons
One thing that gave me trouble was finding the color coding themes. It would be much better if those options were placed right on the front page.

“Highly customizable software”
Pros
Visuals are very customizable. We were able to design the dashboard exactly the way we wanted, showing a lot of information while still keeping it visually appealing and easy to understand.
Cons
Building custom dashboards definitely requires solid IT knowledge and it took us some time to get everything working exactly the way we wanted. Even a small difference in a column name can throw the whole setup off which is frustrating though that's probably common with tools like this.

“my review”
Pros
Gives businesses a lot of flexibility thanks to its wide range of tools for analyzing organizing and presenting data. Teams can handle every stage of a business intelligence project with it, from the first idea all the way to the final visualization. The interface is user friendly and its ability to import and export data across many different applications makes it a strong fit for users with varying skill levels. It also makes data exploration, discovery and visualization much more accessible for non-technical managers since they can review dashboards and reports without needing training. Because everything is stored in the cloud, collaboration is better and everyone involved can work together more effectively to get the best results. Another big advantage is how well it works with Microsoft Office tools like Excel, allowing interactive dashboards to be created easily. It can even turn an Excel spreadsheet into a database, while PowerPoint can be used to present, save and share the data.
Cons
It can demand a significant amount of training across the whole team. Still, when the right skills are in place, it becomes an excellent tool for pulling the most accurate data possible.

“easy to make dashboards”
Pros
The interface is user friendly which makes it simple to learn and use. The charts and graphs are distinctive, the data visualizations are excellent and the built in suggestions are genuinely helpful. Building dashboards is quick, creating data workflows is uncomplicated, data transformation happens fast and filtering and search are both very convenient.
Cons
There is very little to complain about. That said, understanding certain data formats and figuring out some workflow design steps can occasionally take a bit of time.
