“An incredibly powerful reporting tool of our data
Pros
The ability to apply various filters to break down data across different dimensions is really useful.
Cons
The lack of customization in the interface is noticeable. The user interface can feel clunky and not as intuitive as it should be, which means the learning curve is steeper than necessary for someone working independently.

“Its really useful for attribution modeling
Pros
It's a great way to track performance across different teams, offering multiple features that can be used simultaneously by different people from various teams.
Cons
The platform is expensive to use and tends to give errors when running queries multiple times. Also, tracking can be buggy if there's something from the engineering team affecting it. It requires very precise data science modeling and the initial definitions can be tough to understand, meaning a lot of the information needs to be stored in Confluence.

“Great for data handling
Pros
Mode Analytics makes it easy to connect, analyze and visualize data from multiple sources, which is perfect for SEO data analysis. Its SQL interface lets me craft complex queries and dive deep into the data to uncover key trends and insights. Plus the ability to collaborate on reports and analyses with teammates and stakeholders makes it easy to make data-driven decisions. The platform also offers many visualization options, which helps communicate data insights clearly to both my team and clients.
Cons
The steep learning curve for the SQL-based interface makes it difficult for new users to fully take advantage of the platform's potential. Also the pricing can be expensive, especially for larger teams or organizations with many users.

“I totally loved it
Pros
It's really easy to create or update dashboards and instantly notify employees of the changes, which is key for keeping customers in the loop. The integration with databases for pulling data to visualize is smooth and hassle-free.
Cons
Sometimes, when using low-speed internet connections, pages take a long time to load, which could be frustrating for users. A "low bandwidth" view could be a helpful addition for those with slower internet speeds.

“Great for visualizing data, but...
Pros
If you're unfamiliar with how data dashboards work and how to create them, it might be tricky to get the hang of setting up your own custom dashboards. But it's perfect for people who use it in "read-only" mode. For those with a dedicated data team to help set things up, Mode is fast and user-friendly once the dashboards are ready to go.
Cons
There's no real guidance for those who have never set up data dashboards. It's a tough product for entry-level people to use, so your data team will need to handle the creation and deployment of functioning dashboards.

“So many amazing features!
Pros
The customization options are great for narrowing down data and presenting it in a way that suits your company's needs. The drag-and-drop interface for reporting makes visualizing data easy yet powerful. And the affordable price is definitely a plus given the value it offers.
Cons
One common issue is the lack of mobile support, meaning you have to use the program on a computer. There's also been feedback that the platform doesn't have features like automatically generated reports triggered by events or advanced visualizations like clustering stacked bar graphs.

“Easy to integrate and use
Pros
A simple but effective data science platform with easy integration and pre-built visualizations that are really impressive.
Cons
A deep understanding of the platform is required. It's not suitable for users with basic knowledge and the reporting style could definitely be improved.

“seamless and useful
Pros
It was intuitive and, as an intern who wanted to work with modern technology that could accomplish great work, it allowed me to achieve high productivity with maximum output. The ability to integrate Python, SQL and HTML/CSS into a unified and personalized dashboard that scaled well with the amount of data I was querying led to a product that met our project goals effectively. There were very few technical issues along the way and everything worked smoothly.
Cons
Many of the best features are behind a paywall, which means that users who don't pay for the subscription miss out on some of the best aspects of the platform.

“Works well after setup
Pros
It provides insights that are difficult to get from other providers once everything is set up, with various ways to explore and view data.
Cons
Getting set up takes a lot of time. While this is common with many tools, you have to be prepared and careful during the setup process to avoid problems later.

“A great platform for daily data analysis
Pros
I loved being able to write and test my own SQL queries. It's easy to request datasets from different sources (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Hive, Impala, Aurora, Google BigQuery) using the same SQL queries. Also creating charts and visualizations from the data for presentations and reports is simple. Plus the integration with Python/R notebooks is fantastic.
Cons
To create or edit reports, you need solid knowledge of SQL and data queries. This part of the platform is really for data scientists, engineers or analysts. However, once the reports are set up, it becomes one of the best tools on the market for communication and decision-making with managers, executives, BI teams and clients.

“Reliable and so easy to handle
Pros
One of my favorite features is that when I search for a column even if I don't know the table name, it shows me the tables that might contain the column I'm looking for.
Cons
For someone less technical, building dashboards and making queries user-friendly for teammates is not easy.
