“Mobile access with consistent updates”
Pros
One thing I really like is the quality of service they provide to customers. It is also very mobile-friendly since the app is available on both iOS and Android. Upgrading plans through the app is also easy and updating user information in either the application or the web version is simple as well.
Cons
A downside is that any changes require manual effort because there's no automatic data saving feature so updates have to be done by hand. It also requires users to have a good understanding of a sequential computer-based language which can be a challenge for some people.

“Unified data produces unified insights”
Pros
Tableau brings all the data together in one place and once everything is fully set up, analyzing the information becomes very easy. Also it helps us get the insights we need to decide whether to change our strategy or keep moving in the same direction.
Cons
The setup can be a bit complicated and we had to involve technical support to get everything configured properly.

“Really excellent data handling”
Pros
Among business intelligence tools, Tableau remains one of the most widely used for data visualization. The charting options, the overall simplicity and the way it handles data are all excellent.
Cons
Data analytics also requires data cleaning and that's one area where it falls short. Compared with Power BI, it doesn't include its own built-in data cleaning tool like Power Query so that's definitely something that could be improved.

“Every dashboard reveals something useful”
Pros
Tableau is like a powerful yet user friendly tool for data analysis and visualization. The interface is also easy to move around in which makes exploring data and digging into analysis much faster. It handles large volumes of data from multiple sources really well and I can bring everything together quickly while building visuals that are both attractive and useful. Another big plus is the advanced analytics it includes, such as complex aggregations and predictive modeling. On top of that the large online community and available resources make it easier to find answers when questions come up. Rolling Tableau out across my company also went very smoothly.
Cons
The biggest downside is the cost which can be high for startups or individual users and it does take some time to fully learn and make the most of its more advanced features and capabilities.

Pros
It offers advanced visualization features that are easy to use and the updates stay well aligned with user needs.

There are not really any issues with the features themselves but the product is quite expensive. On top of that it can be a bit hard to use because some parts feel too technical.

“Versatile dashboards for diverse tasks”
Pros
Right from the start Tableau seems accessible. The interface is user friendly so building interactive visualizations and dashboards doesn't require deep technical expertise. Another big advantage is how versatile it is since it integrates to all kinds of data sources like spreadsheets, databases and cloud platforms. Also it performs well with large, complex datasets and its scalability makes it a good option for enterprise-level workloads.
Cons
One downside is the price which can be high especially for individual users or smaller businesses and the different functionality tiers add to that. Customization can also feel somewhat restricted at times because, even with plenty of visualization choices, going beyond the built-in options is not always possible. On top of that while the interface is friendly overall, the advanced features come with a fairly steep learning curve and can take a while to fully master.

“Visuals paired with geographical mapping”
Pros
Working with Tableau has been really satisfying because it combines flexibility with a simple approach to data processing. It handles geographical data analysis very well especially when using tables and mapping datasets is easy too. On top of that its data visualization capabilities are very strong and make the insights much more effective to present.
Cons
At this point, there's very little to dislike. It can be used for so many different things and we're still exploring more of what it can do.

Pros
Creating interactive visualizations feels very natural with Tableau's drag-and-drop interface and the fact that it integrates to many different data sources makes it even more useful.

“Import flexibly and visualize broadly”
Pros
Tableau is very user friendly and simple to work with. It supports many file formats so importing data is easy and there are plenty of graph types and design options for building dashboards. Another feature I really appreciate is the ability to create dynamic dashboards. It's also a very powerful tool that can handle large volumes of data and help guide business decisions based on that information. On top of all that, the customer support is very good.
Cons
Pricing is the one part that is hard to justify because it is quite expensive. If your business is already generating good revenue and you rely on it to help make that money, then the cost can make sense. For a small business though, it is a bit excessive. Other than that, I don't have any major complaints.

“Quick visuals from interactive dashboards”
Pros
After getting familiar with the core functions, it becomes something you can start using pretty quickly. Putting together data visuals like graphs and charts is fast thanks to the built-in templates. The interactive dashboard feature is especially useful because it lets other people work with the published dashboard without needing full access to Tableau itself.
Cons
One downside is that the software does not clearly explain many of its functions and features. Things are not always user friendly so getting comfortable with it usually takes guidance from an advanced user or training outside the program.

“Powerful analytics meet beautiful design”
Pros
One of the best parts of using Tableau has been its data visualization capabilities. The function tools and calculation features are really useful, convenient and help a lot when working through tasks. On top of that the reporting and analytics features are very effective and add a lot of value.
Cons
There is still some room to improve data import and export. The data connectors are already quite good but I feel they could be refined and enhanced even further.
