“Strong dashboards with good visuals”
Pros
Its data visualization capabilities are excellent and the dashboards make it much easier to present insights clearly. It also does a good job with statistical analysis which adds a lot of value when working with data.
Cons
Connecting it with other tools can be a bit challenging and most of my stakeholders still rely on spreadsheets which makes adoption harder in practice.

“Interactive visuals worth the time”
Pros
For me the best part is how clearly the data is presented. The different visualization options feel much more interactive and viewers can modify the data in several ways to explore and analyze it better.
Cons
The only downside is the price since getting access to all the tools can be expensive but I still think the subscription is worth paying for.

Tableau is a powerful platform for managing data and building visualizations that make information much easier to understand. It works really well when you need visualization capabilities.

“Reliable analytics with rich insights”
Pros
Tableau keeps proving itself as a highly dependable tool. It's easy to work with, yet it still delivers very detailed metrics that add even more value to the platform.
Cons
The beta connectors are not as reliable although it honestly hasn't been a major issue for us since our company typically doesn't work with very new software.

“Bright dashboards with chart variety”
Pros
Creating dashboards is much more helpful because of the colorful way elements are presented. The wide range of chart styles available is a big plus and the Tableau Live section for keeping dashboards live is really useful too.
Cons
The live database connection could be better and previewing larger databases is not really practical.

“Sales dashboards with full visibility”
Pros
Every sales rep gets a personal dashboard in Tableau and it's by far the most effective way to pull together all of their macroeconomic stats in one place. It shows the clients, facilities and states they've visited while also displaying their overall results at the same time. Net sales and percent to quota are all right there so each rep can see everything they need in a single dashboard. It also makes it possible to share information with other clients using their historical performance data.
Cons
One frustrating part of it comes after the dashboards are already built. If you need to make even a small update, like adding a new user to the main dashboard, it usually requires changes in several places. Updating the underlying data connections and structures is not very easy so getting everything to refresh and work correctly can take more effort than it should.

“Accurate ad performance insights”
Pros
Tableau has been really helpful for analyzing our Facebook ads. It gives a clear view of actual conversions, their value and other important CPA metrics for the business. The data feels much more reliable than what we get from Pixel or Ads Manager alone and that makes it easier to adjust campaigns and improve overall performance.
Cons
There can be a bit of a learning curve at the beginning especially if you haven't worked with similar tools before.

“Easy self-service analytics”
Pros
Tableau is very user friendly for handling basic data visualization on a self-service basis. That makes it much easier for the Analytics team to scale as the business continues to grow.
Cons
The dashboard side of the product is pretty complex. Building dashboards that look polished and presentation-ready can be challenging and getting beyond the basics into even an intermediate level takes a fairly broad analytics skill set.

“Flexible dashboards you can adjust”
Pros
The dashboard customization is excellent and it gives non-technical team members the ability to build their own data filters without needing much help.
Cons
It's definitely on the expensive side especially when you need collaboration features since the licenses can add up quickly. Some users also mention that performance can be slow At times although that usually depends on the amount of data being queried.
