“affordable pricing with responsive support”
Pros
Compared with other options this software seems more cost-effective. The customer support team is reliable, migrating data from Google Ads is simple and exporting data to Excel is quick. It also has an active community and an amazing knowledge base which makes it easier to get help when needed.
Cons
It can be a bit challenging when working on complex analysis or using more advanced functionality.

“Visuals suitable for novices and experts alike”
Pros
Tableau is very easy to use and the learning curve seems manageable. Plus it offers plenty of visualization options and it works well for everyone from beginners all the way to advanced users.
Cons
One area that can be frustrating is when an organization has many users connected at the same time. If the data source relies on live connections, the experience can end up feeling sluggish or poor for users.

“connect data sources without headaches”
Pros
Tableau turned out to be a really capable tool for exploring data and pulling statistics across different KPIs. One of the biggest advantages is how many options it gives you, not only for filtering and visualizing data but also for building dashboards. It also integrates to a wide range of data sources, from spreadsheets to databases which makes it feel like a complete solution. Another plus is that it makes more advanced analysis fairly approachable for people who are not deeply technical, including managers.
Cons
There is still a noticeable learning curve for non-technical users and it helps a lot if you already know what you are trying to accomplish. On top of that the sheer number of features and options can feel a bit overwhelming at first.

Pros
Working with Tableau feels very approachable. Being able to explore and manipulate data without worrying that I might break something is a huge plus.
Cons
It does come with a bit of a learning curve although that's pretty normal with tools like this. After spending some time with it, it becomes really useful.

“Bend dashboards to your exact needs”
Pros
It's a comprehensive tool that covers the full process, from data integration all the way to dashboard delivery. It also provides very strong control over shared data, security, deployment and user management.
Cons
Building high-performing visuals is quite technical although that complexity is also what gives it such a high level of flexibility.

“employee insights presented with clarity”
Pros
One thing that really helps with Tableau is how clearly it presents employee stats, like the way our members interact with our product. Everything is laid out in a very organized way which makes the data much easier to read and understand.
Cons
If I had to point out anything, it would be that it can occasionally take a bit longer to load. That said I understand it's likely because of the amount of data being processed.

“Master it and unlock serious potential”
Pros
I have been using Tableau for one of my clients for less than six months and it's definitely a complex tool but also an extremely powerful one. After putting in a fair number of hours and getting more comfortable with it, you really start to see that Tableau offers features that are much more advanced and refined than what many competing tools provide.
Cons
That said it's true that I struggled with it for quite a few hours before I was able to produce something coherent and genuinely useful. I ended up watching a lot of tutorials along the way. So for me the only real downside is that getting started isn't very user friendly but if you stick with it, you do eventually get there.

“Deploy dashboards organization-wide”
Pros
Across the organization Tableau has become a really powerful tool for us and has brought much more consistency to the way people work and understand the data. It doesn't take much technical knowledge to build a dashboard which makes it accessible for a wider group of users. And when the data we need isn't readily available, we already have a workflow in place to send it to the team that can investigate and resolve it.
Cons
At the beginning getting some of our existing data into it was genuinely challenging especially as someone who isn't very technical. We had to adjust a few organizational and system processes before we could get the outputs we were aiming for from the tool. That said it was really more of a teething issue during adoption and didn't turn into a long-term problem.

“meets visual excellence”
Pros
Tableau felt like a really strong tool for data visualization. The interface is quite self-explanatory and user friendly which makes it easier to start working with it without a steep learning curve. It also comes with advanced features and there is a huge variety of visualizations you can build depending on the kind of story you want to present. Another big advantage is how well it handles large Excel files and lets you combine them for visualization purposes. The drag-and-drop functionality is also very helpful and the story feature adds a lot when presenting insights clearly.
Cons
There are not many downsides but a few limitations do stand out. Working with date and time functions can be a bit tricky at times. Some specific chart types are not available which can be limiting depending on the use case. It also does not allow writing SQL queries directly inside the tool. Statistical analysis is not really possible within it either. On top of that calculated fields can sometimes be difficult to work with and navigate.
