“Makes my job stress-free
Pros
What I love is how easy it is to take both tests and review of others work. Plus being able to earn a little money while helping out makes the whole process even better.
Cons
One thing that gets annoying is not qualifying for any tests on some days. Like I keep checking and applying but it takes a lot of tries before something works out.

“Works great for testers and clients
Pros
I really like the fact that UserTesting offers opportunities for people from all kinds of backgrounds no matter their job, lifestyle or interests. They treat testers and clients fairly making sure testers are paid for their time and that companies get real, useful feedback for their research.
Cons
The mobile app acts up sometimes. For example I will accept a test and it will just glitch out with a something went wrong message and then I completely miss that opportunity to take the test because of the error.

“Easy to use tool
Pros
The dashboard is pretty basic and user friendly. New tests pop up with a sound alert and the qualification questions are easy to get through. Also I like how the admin section clearly shows how much I have earned and what payments are still pending.
Cons
What bothers me most is when I qualify for a test which is of $10 or even $60 but then right after it says the test expired. It happens often and feels like a bug in the dashboard that costs me the chance to earn.

“Helpful in testing user experience
Pros
Our team uses it to manage and review all of our usability sessions. We either record directly through the platform or upload recordings afterward. Plus the tagging and note taking features during video playback are quite useful and creating short highlight clips helps us easily share key insights with others.
Cons
We have not really had much luck using their tester pool. It could be because our needs are a bit more specific and the users they have are just too general. So now we mostly stick to recruiting from our own user base instead.

“Good but has room to grow
Pros
One thing that is great is that the payouts come through PayPal and they do not charge any fees which is honestly I quite like.
Cons
The system at times assigns missions that do not really match our profile. I do not know why!

“Causes a lot of trouble
Pros
UserTesting provides me with a great way to make money online. You get the chance to test different websites and just give your thoughts about the experience. I would say it is simple and worth it.
Cons
I honestly feel like the platform has gone downhill. As it is very tough to take a test now since they disappear in seconds. So I feel like they definitely need to work on making things more accessible and fair.

“Reasonable for moderated test runs
Pros
Setting everything up is quick and it includes all the main tools you would expect from screeners to recruiting options and live sessions. Plus the note taking is excellent and clipping out key parts of sessions is fast which saves me a lot of time during reviews.
Cons
The automatic highlight feature could be useful but right now it feels to me a little half baked. As for now it ends up pulling attention away from more important parts of the session rather than helping.

“My experience with it is good so far
Pros
This app has been really useful for making money right from home. I have been using it to earn some decent cash and even told my friends about it. Now they are using it too and liking it.
Cons
It would really help if tests came more frequently during the day. Also I have had some live test sessions randomly cancel on their own which was way too annoying.

“Excellent tool for testing apps
Pros
Anyone can sign up and start trying out different tools and websites. It is really easy to use and does not take much of our effort to get started.
Cons
The main problem I have with this platform is that the recorder crashes a lot. It breaks the flow and makes testing way more difficult than it should be.

“Always comes in handy
Pros
I have made $10 in just a few minutes testing websites from home and honestly I have become a big fan of UserTesting. As I have already earned over $50 with them and I could have made more if I qualified for more tests. It is not hard at all mainly if you can speak basic English so you are good to go.
Cons
My biggest concern is how often you get disqualified from tests. Like it is not guaranteed you will qualify which makes it feel like a waiting game most of the time.

“Feels like they're tricking users
Pros
Well I have not personally found anything I would consider a real advantage with it so far.
Cons
I paid $10,000 expecting to get experienced testers but instead got people who clearly had no idea what they were doing. Felt like I got scammed. So I am already reporting this to the BBB.

“Works fine but needs a lot of improvements
Pros
This is a great app for gathering genuine feedback from real users. And it is nice that users like me can earn a bit of extra income in our spare time just by sharing thoughts.
Cons
One of the hardest parts I come across is just getting into a test. Some of them require webcam access which not everyone is okay with and that just limits who can even participate.

“Meets the expectations
Pros
It is an awesome app that pays you for reviewing websites and mobile apps. Plus it works really well and looks clean too. Also it is perfect for making some side cash whenever I have got free time.
Cons
The work is not consistent at all. As some weeks are totally dry and you barely earn anything. Though it works well sometimes but early on the low pay and lack of tasks can be a bit discouraging for many.

“Better than many I have tried
Pros
I really like how much they pay for each test. And compared to other platforms it is definitely one of the better ones for people participating in these types of tasks.
Cons
There are usually a lot of tests listed but the requirements are so specific that it is hard to actually find one I qualify for. It feels like I am always just missing the mark.
