Helps drive decisions with the right data

Pros

Using data helps to manage and address issues of favoritism and bias, ensuring more equitable decision-making.

Cons

There is no downside when data drives decisions as it leads to more objective, informed outcomes.

Simple to use with valuable analytics and pre-built metric packs

Pros

I appreciate the broad array of prebuilt metrics available in Visier, which makes it incredibly easy for end-users to run analytics and answer their business questions.

Cons

While Visier provides a wonderful layout to define metrics and offers examples on how they are calculated, I think it would be even more helpful if technical administrators at the client organization could have default access to the back end formulas and calculated fields. This would facilitate easier troubleshooting and provide better understanding of past configurations. This feature is available through a developer license or on a case by case basis via read only access provided by Visier.

Exceptional client service

Pros

I love that Visier is always available for discussions about new research and provide the flexibility to tweak their tools to meet the specific outcomes of our organization. Their team is always knowledgeable and ready to collaborate.

Cons

There is nothing I would change about the product. All my dealings and interactions with the Visier team have been top notch.

Streamlines daily reporting and conversations with business leaders

Pros

The iterative functional improvements and the ability to simplify massive amounts of unstructured people data make Visier an invaluable tool for data management.

Cons

The inability to immediately customize small aspects such as color schemes, labels, and chart types for executive level presentations is a limitation I guess because it can make it harder to align the tool with specific branding or presentation preferences.

Visier provides a wealth of data at your fingertips

Pros

Visier is an excellent tool for aggregating and combining disparate workforce data, offering the ability to slice and dice data in various ways, with a variety of tools to derive insights. Out of the box, Visier provides hundreds of prebuilt analyses that serve as the foundation for deeper dives, further analyses and broader exploration. And also the customer service in all areas of the product has been outstanding. As the product technical lead for my company, I use Visier almost daily to assist users with various aspects of the tool.

Cons

While the information and pre-made insights are valuable and a great way to capture attention, the visuals are still quite basic. Although the data can be connected to Power BI or Tableau, I would prefer to keep all the data in one environment and have access to more advanced visuals. Currently the charts in Visier are monochromatic and simplistic and I would love the ability to create dashboards with more dynamic visuals like maps or simple infographics.

this is really an outstanding people analytics tool

Pros

Visier gives significant power to our teams working with people analytics. The management system for people data is intuitive and the insights produced from the outputs are highly valuable for our users.

Cons

It needs to provide more development power to its clients. At the moment, obtaining more flexibility to develop custom features is tied to a licensed course associated with a different type of user license for developers. This slows down the process from a business perspective.

Easy to implement, insightful, but challenging to adopt

Pros

It's easy to implement and connect to various data sources. Different contacts at Visier are always eager to help, are well educated and have a deep understanding of the system. We are very satisfied with it.

Cons

There are occasional imprecise knowledge base articles and the learning platform could benefit from improvements. And I think the communication regarding the status of ideas submitted in the influence portal could be clearer and more frequent.

Decent support but a confusing product portfolio

Pros

There are many modules available, each with a wide range of capabilities and use cases, making it adaptable to our various business needs.

Cons

In the one year we've been a customer Visier's product portfolio and pricing scheme have changed several times, which has been somewhat confusing and made it difficult to keep track of the product offerings.

New to the product and excited for our launch

Pros

I believe the future potential and benefits of this tool are vast and promising, as it continues to evolve.

Cons

The kick off of the implementation process has been slower and less responsive than expected, leading to delays and a more challenging start for using the tool.
