X1 allows me to quickly find what I need in Windows. Whether it's an email in Outlook, files on a server, Sharepoint or a local PC, if it's in one of these locations, I can find it almost instantly

Cons

The major downside of X1 is that if you ever have to use any of the other built-in search tools in Windows (like outlook, file explorer, sharepoint or onedrive search), you'll be frustrated because they only perform basic text matching. Once you experience X1, you'll never want to go back to the default search tools.

A single database where you can search and access all your emails, documents, and related information, with various ways to search and display results

Cons

It occasionally uses a lot of system resources but that's to be expected considering all it does.

I'm seriously impressed with X1. This incredible tool has changed my work process, helping me to be more efficient rather than wasting time searching endlessly for documents, files or emails. For two decades, X1 has been essential to both my professional and personal life and I can't imagine working without it. It's worth every penny. Whenever I've had an issue, Chris has been there with solid support. To sum up, X1 is an outstanding product with excellent customer service

Cons

I can't think of anything that could improve the current version, except if Windows search could integrate with X1.

Pros

The built in viewer allows me to quickly click through and view a list of files or emails to finalize my search. The option to create and save complex "search equations" (like using AND and OR) is highly valuable

Cons

It needs to continuously check for changes (like newly added, deleted or moved files and emails) instead of receiving notifications when something changes. Even when you move a file using X1, it doesn't instantly update the index but instead scans and corrects the index later.

My customers and colleagues think I'm brilliant all thanks to X1. I can retrieve information in no time. I was introduced to X1 15 years ago at a client's site, where a great presentation showed the stark difference between filers and searchers. Not only are filing systems inefficient, but with the massive amount of data, filing becomes nearly impossible (imagine if Google tried to file the entire internet). I stopped using most filing systems back then because X1 was the tool that worked for me. I've tried many solutions over the years, but nothing compares to X1's performance, ease of use, and results. Whenever I've needed support, the customer service has been exceptional

Cons

During indexing, it can max out the CPU and make my laptop's fan noisy. Haha

“Excellent product, amazing customer service

Pros

It works so efficiently and is quick. As an attorney, I couldn't work without it when drafting documents. It's effortless to find clauses I've written before to insert into a new document. It's just as easy to locate emails, contacts, and tasks. Customer service is prompt, knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond, even helping with unrelated computer issues. X1 helps me complete my tasks so quickly. It searches my contacts, calendar, and files privately which I use frequently. It's a must have tool for any user

One small thing I feel is if you click off the scroll bar, the view disappears and you need to reset it. However the program is amazing! It's clean and user friendly for building custom search queries.

You don't need to do the searching yourself, let X1 do it for you. Plus their after-sales support is excellent. I've been using the app for over 10 years, and it's been fantastic
