It is very easy to use and you do not need much coding to create a bot. Plus most tasks are done with drag and drop and the IQ bot for process mapping really stands out to me as it has proven quite useful.

Cons

The software is quite grand and mastering it takes some time. However once I start taking a hands-on approach it becomes easier to understand.

Automation Anywhere makes it easy to pull data from various sources and allows our engineers to access real time information from sensors and IoT devices without hassle.

Well one thing I have noticed is that it often involves more complex tasks that require specialized customization within its workflows.

Well it is an amazing program for automating any process. Everything works through simple drag and drop and all I need to do is set my parameters like sending an email or opening a browser. Plus the Action Panel for Excel features offers plenty of options along with tools for Active Directory and Databases.

Cons

I feel like there is a need for more improvements in the Actions and the options to customize parameters to make them more flexible. That being said I like the fact that the Automation Anywhere team is continuously improving the platform and the support team adds new actions whenever needed in future releases.

Pros

The interface is so simple and it has most of the tools we need to perform tasks. Also the OCR feature works really well and IQ is a great option when working with paper-based data.

Compared to other automation tools, there are a few features missing which I hope they will add soon.

Also it is like having an extra pair of hands that never get tired. The drag and drop interface made it so simple to create workflows even for someone like me who is not a tech expert. Automating tasks across different apps and software has saved us a lot of time.

While it has been a great addition to our toolkit, it does have some issues. Like the learning curve was a bit tough at first and getting to grips with all the features and options took some time of mine. There were also moments when the automation workflows needed some adjustments to work smoothly with certain software. Plus there is always the worry that something might go wrong with automation.

This solution uses AI to take care of repetitive tasks so we can focus on bigger business priorities. Plus it is perfect for growing our business while handling the boring stuff. Automation Anywhere gives us the option to build processes either with a flowchart style design or through line by line coding, letting us choose what works best for us. The latest version, A360 has made it even better by turning it into a cloud-native platform which makes everything easier to use, manage and build bots.

Setting up automation is a little difficult initially but breaking down each business process thoroughly allowed us to manage the issue and apply the solution correctly. So instead of having a new action for nearly the same task with just a different variable type like assigning a string vs. a number, I prefer to see several activities combined into one and wrapped in configuration settings. Also it would be helpful to color-code stages so tasks like logging, error handling and happy paths become easily identifiable.

There is a lot of online resources to learn from. The result of it is that I was able to get a hang of it without any problem.

It is quite expensive for me to purchase right now. So I will reconsider when it I have a larger budget.

The tool is really simple to use. We mainly used it for Robotics Process Automation to automate daily banking tasks. Also it is fairly easy to automate websites and Excel files. It integrates smoothly with VS scripts too.

AI-ML functionality could be improved. Also in earlier versions I have noticed that VCS was quite difficult to use but I am not sure if that has changed.

Automation Anywhere covers a wide range of automation needs helping us automate manual tasks and make our work a lot easier.

The user interface is a bit complex as it took me some time to get the hang of it, so I feel like it can make things more difficult for beginners.

With Automation Anywhere we can easily automate tasks for Excel, Web, PDF and Citrix. Also it is an intuitive platform with drag and drop features. The deployment process is smooth and the exception-handling capabilities are impressive.

Cons

The main downside I see is the cost as it is way too much higher compared to other automation tools. Also there are times when OCR based UI element extraction does not work properly in web automation.
