I find it super easy to use. The translations are pretty spot-on and it does a great job of giving my team a reliable translation of the documents we need to review.

Cons

Sometimes the formatting of the translated document gets messed up. When that happens, I have to spend extra time fixing the formatting myself which can be a bit frustrating and time-consuming.

It's amazing to have the option to use a "safe" tool instead of those online translators especially for the more technical languages that require accurate translations. this tool saves me so much time and gives me access to tons of documents without needing to ask my contacts to translate them. I love the side-by-side views of the original and translated languages. The software's translation is way ahead of what Google Translate can do. When my workload gets overwhelming, it has been a lifesaver in helping me get things done quickly.

one issue I've noticed is that the product struggles with how it splits text. For example, when the original document has bullet points, numbered lists or alphabetized lists, the translation doesn't handle them very well. Another problem is spacing...if the spacing changes, the input word can get distorted and the translation ends up wrong. I've also seen cases where entire sentences inside paragraphs get skipped which makes the translation incomplete.

What I appreciate most about this software is how quickly it translates my documents. Whenever I am working on something that needs to be translated, I can just upload the file and get results back in a very short time.

Translating Word documents with this software is pretty easy and simple. the process itself is simple and I do not have to struggle to figure out how things work.

I once tried using it with some complex Excel files that were supposed to be about 75% translated but they really weren't. In the end, I had to go back to a simpler method and use the built-in translators in MS Word and Excel instead.

i love how they use color to differentiate between machine-generated and human-translated words. The side-by-side view of the original and translated languages is awesome. Plus, the software-generated translations are much better than what Google Translate can do.

I personally felt that the cost was high. It was also a little difficult to access the free trial and when I finally did, it didn't last very long.

the way to use it is super simple and I can translate everything I need from countries all over the world. It's great for understanding the meaning. I also love how it keeps all the pictures, shapes from PowerPoint or Word and even formulas in Excel. Very convenient!

I end up losing quite a bit of time in PowerPoint because I have to resize text after translation. that's probably my biggest issue with it.

UI is pretty easy to use but honestly, I get the same results from the Microsoft Translator built into Office. It's helpful for PDFs but when it comes to Japanese translations, accuracy is a bit of an issue. It works okay from Japanese to English but from English to Japanese, I don't find it accurate enough.

one inconvenience for me is having to copy and paste text into the software when translating emails from Japan. In Outlook, I can just click a button and it translates automatically with similar results.

It runs the translation while I work on other things and it even remembers previous inputs (sometimes too well, as I'll explain below).

the biggest issues I've faced is when the original document has bullet points, numbered lists or alphabetized lists. The software struggles a lot with these formats. Another frustrating thing is that if a word or phrase was italicized or bold in a previous document, the translation often keeps that same formatting even when it should not. The editing options for changing text size, italics or bold formatting appear very inconsistently and sometimes not at all. Because of that, the final translated document can end up with random bold or italic words or even strange font sizes like size 6 in the middle of a paragraph. Spacing is another big problem. For example, if the original text says: Erik R - "I wrote a review of Pairaphrase", the software might convert it to Erik R-"I wrote a review of Pairaphrase". That small spacing change causes the program to treat "R-"I" as one word which breaks the translation and makes the rest of the sentence useless. I've also seen whole sentences inside paragraphs get skipped completely.

does a really good job translating. It does not completely replace the language nuances I am translating into but it definitely saves me time especially when I have a lot of documents to translate. It's quick and easy to use.

it would work even better if the software translated documents page by page instead of going line by line on each page.

I find this software really easy to use, even if you are not very technical. The layout is simple and smooth so I didnt have to spend a lot of time figuring things out.

In my experience it didn't translate correctly when I tried using it from English to Spanish. It mostly translated word for word which didn't always make sense in the final result.

super user-friendly and the communication from the support team is just right....not too much but very helpful for getting the most out of the program. I am learning little by little without wasting too much time on trial and error! Keeping a library in my Excel program which I still need to save in Pairaphrase, seems like a huge bonus!

I would really appreciate having a reference file or guide that I could click through to learn about features I might not even know exist. I was registered by my employer and didn't receive any information or training so I have basically had to teach myself how to use it. The self-learning part is not too hard but I'm sure there are features I am missing simply because I don't know they are there.

honestly surprising how much easier your job can become with just a few clicks using this software. What used to take me a lot of time like translating documents or checking different language versions can now be done very quickly.
