This feature addresses hidden characters that may be introduced when text is copied from AI chat interfaces or other digital sources. It can identify and remove characters such as zero-width spaces, zero-width joiners and non-joiners, non-breaking spaces, directional marks, and other invisible control characters.

This chrome extension is intended to bring the platform’s writing analysis directly into the browser, reducing the need to copy and paste content between separate applications. The planned extension includes a sidebar for Google Docs, support for Canvas and Blackboard workflows, and a universal overlay that allows users to select text on webpages and run a scan directly from the browser.
