The speed is incredible and it generates results very quickly. Plus I find it very easy to use and the setup is really user friendly too.

Cons

I feel like it could definitely use a bit of improvement when it comes to better understanding what the user actually wants.

Well the frame rates stay nice and smooth and it is great having the flexibility to customize settings whenever we need to.

Cons

Sometimes if we do not use reference material, the generations can turn out pretty off from what you were aiming for.

It is really easy to use with a beginner friendly interface that lets even non tech users of our team to handle AI without any trouble.

The trial account comes with very limited credits which makes it hard for us to really test it out properly for free.

Runway is quite user friendly and setting it up was not a problem. Also I have been using it along with Canva for my client projects and even personal tasks because it is simple and saves a lot of time.

Cons

It is not very affordable for me. I tried the free version but the results were lower in quality than I expected.

Not only is it easy to work with but is packed with lots of features and they respond quickly whenever I need something.

Compared to other tools out there I would say it is definitely on the expensive side.

The technology is seriously impressive as I find out it has amazing capabilities and delivers professional quality results.

Well I personally think the interface is not the best. Even though I am an experienced video editor, I am not very tech-savvy. I usually prefer easier to use programs like Wondershare Filmora over more complex ones like Photoshop. Some other AI video tools may not be as powerful but they are a lot more beginner friendly for people like me.

“Works well without causing trouble

Pros

Runway has been the best tool I have used for turning images into videos. While the movements are not always as lively as other tools, it is definitely the smoothest with the least amount of weirdness. Also I find the camera prompts to work really well.

Cons

It sometimes gets the walking directions wrong like showing someone walking backward but I usually just flip the video to fix it.

Pros

I find the interface is quite nice and what it creates can either be absolutely magical or sometimes miss the mark a little bit.

Cons

The monthly paid plan does not offer a ton of credits and as a new user like me who is still experimenting, I burn through them fast. So it would be awesome if they gave more credits during the first few months to help new users learn the platform.

“Nothing can beat it for text-to-video

Pros

RunwayML is hands down one of the top AI tools available. Also it is really easy to use and I especially love the image/text-to-video feature as it is like magic. Plus it fits perfectly into my video editing process and I use it all the time to make cinematic clips that boost my full length videos.

Cons

Honestly I cannot think of anything negative to say about this tool. I really believe it is leading the future.

“Helps students get creative

Pros

As a teaching assistant what I love most about Runway is how it opens up advanced AI tools for creative projects in a really accessible way. Students can dive right in without needing a tech background and features like image generation and video editing give them tons of chances to experiment with AI in hands on, exciting ways. Also it is awesome seeing how fired up they get when they can bring their own ideas to life.

Cons

Some of the more advanced features can feel a bit complex and take a while to learn. While it is mostly user friendly I feel like beginners or students new to AI might find it tricky at first. Also the free version is pretty limited which can be frustrating when trying to work on bigger projects.

Pros

I am a huge fan of the Green Screen feature as it lets me pick out people or objects and remove the background instantly which saves me hours of editing time.

Cons

One thing I have noticed is that it tends to have issues with certain formats or video quality as anything above 1080p in mp4 format usually won't upload properly.

Honestly I really like using Gen3 Alpha, video generation, masking tools and the background remover all very helpful features.

Cons

Generating videos uses up a lot of credits of mine which can get expensive pretty quickly.

Pros

There are hundreds of cutting edge AI tools for creating and producing content with new ones coming out every week. Also it really cuts down the boring, time consuming parts of video creation and editing. And with the powerful editing platform and AI Magic Tools I can create and update projects easily from anywhere and sharing projects is as simple as sending a link.

Cons

I am really hoping they add new features like AI assisted video to text transitions and built-in video stock libraries.
