“clean design and quick adoption”
Pros
Right from the start, the platform felt clean, distinctive and thoughtfully designed, so I immediately understood where to begin. With a lot of other tech tools, onboarding can feel stressful and it's hard to tell whether you're even using the features that matter most. That wasn't the case here. It was simple for me to learn and my fairly small team got comfortable with it just as quickly. We were able to build our own folder structure around the way we work and organize things and everything has run really well since then. Finding uploaded files is very easy, especially when I know who added them.
Cons
Only thing I really wish it had is built-in document collaboration. Even then, it hasn't caused much trouble because it integrates directly with Google Drive, so we can collaborate there and upload the file afterward.

“powerful organization and web clipper”
Pros
Its organizational tools are excellent, especially when you set it up around your company's existing file structure. The interface is attractive and simple to navigate and the Web Clipper is a really useful feature. On top of that, the search is detailed enough that even if everything isn't perfectly organized, it's still very easy to find what you need.
Cons
The only thing missing right now is a built-in messaging or chat option, although I was told a Slack integration is planned for the future.

“marketing content hub”
Pros
Our marketing team has been using it for project research, tracking different ad versions and managing sales collateral and it handles all of that really well. Keeping multiple iterations and revisions organized is simple with custom tags, company tags, badges, groups, the organization library, folders and more. The search functionality is especially powerful because it keeps everything the team needs close at hand. We can search within documents and images, then narrow results by version, date, users, content type and even location. For us, it has basically replaced Evernote with a much more simple and practical way for marketing and product teams to collaborate on content research.
Cons
A Slack integration is still missing. Since our team relies on Slack every day, it would be really useful to pull attachments and links into it so the overall workflow feels more complete and connected.

“fits right into my workflow”
Pros
It blends naturally into my workflow, especially with integrations for tools like GSuite, Gmail, Dropbox, Evernote and others I already use every day. Staying organized with digital content has opened up new ways to work, collaborate and be more productive and it has also cut down on the stress and frustration I didn't even realize I had before using it.
Cons
I don't have any complaints

“keeps our team in sync”
Pros
There's nothing more frustrating than when a customer or coworker needs something from you and you can't provide it right away. That gets even harder when your team is spread across the world. This solves that problem.
Cons
One thing platforms really need these days is strong integration with other tools. Since this is built for teams, it still needs a Slack integration.

“versatile hub for onboarding”
Pros
It's become our go-to knowledge base and onboarding platform for IT staff. Putting together different types of content, text, links to web articles, uploaded documents, audio, images, videos and more, into folders and groups is really easy. It also fits nicely with the systems we already use and has turned into the central place we rely on to keep everything organized.
Cons
Nothing so far.

“Amazing web clipper and smart search”
Pros
One of the best parts is being able to save content with the web clipper and not think about it again until it's actually needed. The search tools are really helpful too, since I can find things without remembering the exact name or where I filed them. Tags, a tag library and custom badges make organizing everything even better.
Cons
I'm still waiting on better support from the web clipper for capturing Slideshare presentations and podcasts. I reached out to customer service about it and they mentioned that feature is already being worked on.

“meaningful organization for teams”
Pros
It really helps organize information in a way that makes sense which is especially valuable for distributed teams.

There's honestly not much to complain about right now, though it does feel like the number of integrations could be broader.

“centralized docs and powerful search”
Pros
Getting our company to adopt Confluence wasn't simple but we needed something more flexible and better organized for our internal knowledge base. After a fairly thorough evaluation process, we chose it because it let our team keep working with Dropbox, Drive and Slack while also giving us one central place to manage our most important documents. The standout features for us are the Dropbox and Drive sync, the advanced and filtered search options, the ability to add extra metadata like tags and badges and the web clipper which helps our team save YouTube videos and web articles for training use.
Cons
No knowledge management tool is ever going to solve everything perfectly. Even the knowledge managers at our company still struggle to keep information organized across different teams and departments, so there really isn't a one-size-fits-all solution. I personally prefer a wiki-style approach for building knowledge bases and that's still missing here but overall we're very satisfied with the product.

“beautiful library for web saves”
Pros
The interface looks really polished and visually appealing and it lets you save most kinds of web content into your own personal library.
Cons
Once content is saved, the functionality feels pretty limited. There's not much you can do with it beyond searching, although I've heard the developers plan to add more features later on.

“affordable global library platform”
Pros
Running an international organization meant we needed something affordable and accessible worldwide and it.io has delivered on both. Their team is extremely customer-focused and keeps asking for feedback so they can roll out new features and improve the system. The library feels simple whether you're managing it as an admin or using it as a regular staff member. Search works really well, so finding the right resources doesn't take much effort. Being able to set up specific user groups for certain documents has also been a major advantage for us. Overall it's an excellent resource for the price.
Cons
I'd still love to see more control over the visual customization, like adding our own logos, colors, or co-branding elements. That said if aesthetics are my biggest complaint, it says a lot about how well the product is working for us overall.

“document search time saver”
Pros
Without a broader document management strategy in place, it.io has been really valuable for finding files spread across different platforms. It saves a ton of time.
Cons
This is a minor complaint but I'm not a fan of the color palette. Sometimes the light gray and orange combination is a bit hard to read.

“all-in-one resource hub”
Pros
Everything I need is available in one accessible place and it goes beyond just storing documents. The design feels so simple that it often seems to anticipate what customers need before they even ask. Customer interaction is excellent and extends well beyond basic support and the platform can be customized to fit specific organizational needs.
Cons
One thing that doesn't quite work for my organization is the set of standard badges used to tag materials and highlight them for other users. I need the option to create or edit those badges so they better match our setup. I've already shared this feedback with it.io management and they're currently working on it.

“web clipper boosts teamwork”
Pros
Using it feels very easy and the web clipper completely changes how fast I can save content from the web and pass it along to team members.

The missing rating system is a bit disappointing, although it does seem like that feature may be added later on.
