Using this product feels very easy and it gives employees full access to the knowledge of colleagues who are often based far away. It's a really great system for sharing information and know-how across teams.
Cons
One issue is that the content isn't organized very well. There are subcategories but the system doesn't automatically show whether a question has already been answered before and that's a critical gap for me.

Getting this up and running was easy, even after just one meeting as a Pioneer. In a large company, the concept of sharing knowledge in the shortest possible time is really essential. It also helps prevent undocumented know-how from disappearing completely.
Cons
One issue is that some users seem focused on boosting their ranking by adding information that is not always useful. At times, details are shared without checking the background properly, such as referencing a specific order that does not really connect to broader use. It is also unclear how to search for particular information. A proper database would be very helpful for keeping everything documented and accessible in the future.

One of the best parts is the customer support team, they're consistently kind, responsive and genuinely helpful. The out-of-the-box integrations are a big plus, it's simple to use and the knowledge spaces feature is especially valuable for capturing questions and answers ahead of software rollouts.
Cons
Search could definitely be improved to work more like Google Search. It would also help if every user could mark knowledge that's important to their own work and if personalized filters were available. The status of feature requests in Canny isn't always very clear and it can take quite a while before anyone responds. Another limitation is the ability to ask questions that aren't immediately recognized as questions.

One thing that works really well is the option for people to submit questions anonymously without exposing who they are.
