Pros

It has been very easy and it lets me get answers from the team across different locations instead of sending multiple emails just to track down the right person.

Cons

fast, integrated and user-friendly value

Pros

This felt user-friendly, fast and well integrated. Everyone began using it almost immediately and it started adding value from day one.

useful knowledge sharing hub

Pros

Using this product feels very easy and it gives employees full access to the knowledge of colleagues who are often based far away. It's a really great system for sharing information and know-how across teams.

Cons

One issue is that the content isn't organized very well. There are subcategories but the system doesn't automatically show whether a question has already been answered before and that's a critical gap for me.

Pros

One of the best parts is having a place where people can freely share their knowledge and wisdom without barriers which makes the whole experience really valuable.

Cons

Pros

Finding information is easy thanks to the search bar at the top and the suggested existing content often answers our questions right away.

Cons

At times, the community responses do not address the exact question being asked, although that may also be due to some questions not being stated clearly enough.

Right from the start, this platform has been a very user-friendly and valuable tool for both our IT service desk team and the wider user community. It genuinely helps simplify daily work and using it is actually enjoyable. On top of that, it brings clear benefits in terms of knowledge sharing and overall efficiency.

Cons

One thing that can happen at times is that the amount of information feels a bit overwhelming. It would be even better if there were more noticeable ways to reduce or filter the overall flow of information, as that could make the platform even more useful.

Interface is simple to use and it's really helpful being able to browse anonymous questions and answers when looking for a solution.

Cons

The only downside is that people need more encouragement to stay active on Grapevine, otherwise, discussions can become stale and new topics don't refresh as often as expected.

Pros

The collaborative workflow really brings out a strong team spirit and the challenges, rankings and similar features make the whole experience more engaging. It actually makes helping other people feel fun and rewarding.

Cons

The quality of the responses isn't always consistent, so it still requires some critical thinking and a bit of distance at times. On the plus side, incorrect answers tend to get rated poorly by other users which helps balance things out.

Getting this up and running was easy, even after just one meeting as a Pioneer. In a large company, the concept of sharing knowledge in the shortest possible time is really essential. It also helps prevent undocumented know-how from disappearing completely.

Cons

One issue is that some users seem focused on boosting their ranking by adding information that is not always useful. At times, details are shared without checking the background properly, such as referencing a specific order that does not really connect to broader use. It is also unclear how to search for particular information. A proper database would be very helpful for keeping everything documented and accessible in the future.

Excellent support and smart integrations

Pros

One of the best parts is the customer support team, they're consistently kind, responsive and genuinely helpful. The out-of-the-box integrations are a big plus, it's simple to use and the knowledge spaces feature is especially valuable for capturing questions and answers ahead of software rollouts.

Cons

Search could definitely be improved to work more like Google Search. It would also help if every user could mark knowledge that's important to their own work and if personalized filters were available. The status of feature requests in Canny isn't always very clear and it can take quite a while before anyone responds. Another limitation is the ability to ask questions that aren't immediately recognized as questions.

anonymous questions encourage honesty

Pros

One thing that works really well is the option for people to submit questions anonymously without exposing who they are. That makes it much easier for them to be open, honest and ask what they really want to ask. At the same time, the people answering are identified which lets them demonstrate their knowledge and credibility.

Cons

At this point, I haven't really come across any downsides. Overall I'm happy with the software.
